Peter Joe Leyendecker
John, if you don't mind, can you transfer the memorial page for Peter Joe Leyendecker to me? As you know, he is my 2x great grandfather. I sent you some edits to correct his information and I'd like to work more on adding the rest of his family. Thanks! Marge

Isaac Mayo
I fulfilled your photo request for Isaac Mayo in Mountain View Cemetery, Hancock County, Bar Harbor, ME. If this is the wrong Isaac Mayo (as no dates appear on the stone) please let me now and I will retract it. I could not find anything for Catherine Mayo.

RE: Jim Higgins
It was a beautiful day to photograph Mr. Higgins' gravestone. I was at a burial there on Saturday and didn't have time to search, but I looked at the Find A Grave app. Today I found his grave as well as a classmate's very close to each other. (I knew my classmate passed, but I didn't know where he was buried). I like this cemetery - I saw people just walking and even a bike rider exercising on the wide driveway.

Thanks,
Chuck

She is only related to the Bonney's as a sister in law. But if you wish to transfer, I usually do more extensive searching.

Hello John, I will email you all the pics I took....3 of them had to be dug out as they had pushed down over the yrs. and covered with dirt and leaves..I tried to clean them up as best as I could so I could read the inscriptions...They may not com out as well in the pics but I will include them as well. I will be happy to go back when the weather is sunnier and drier. All the best for a Happy New Year, Ed McD

I was wondering if you could provide more information on the "unknown" McGrath memorial number 102147847. Do you have pictures of the graves beside or close this one?

Artemas M. Dingwell 1894-1980
Hello John, I located the burial for Artemas M. Dingwell 1894-1980 along with his wife M. Katherine 1897-1974...Its a DINGWELL Family plot with several other burials in the plot, ie ; Artemas W. 1865-1949 ; Susan I. 1868-1947 ; D. Harvey 1867-1942 ; Margaret 1869-1924 ; John E. Capt US Navy 1897-1993 Legion of Merit ; Jo Anne Dingwell Hanson wife of Robert, Dau. of John & Anne 1926-2010 ; Ainsley Wilbert Dingwell Cmm US Nvy WW II 1904-1988 and Elizabeth A. Dingwell 1913-2004.....However the Cemetery has no record of the burials there of James & wife Georgina T. Dingwell...I will be adding the photos I took for the Memorial page for Artemas M....Are you interested in any of the other Names I have mentioned and creating Memorials for them ??...3 of the burial markers were well covered over and I had to dig them out so I hope the photos I took of them will be ok...I was accurate recording the names on those markers however...Please let me know if I can help in any way and of course all of the photos I took are yours for the asking. All the best for a Happy and Healthy New Year, Ed McDonough

John,

I just love it when I see a photo posted of the veteran's as well as all the rest. I have posted photo's on as many of my family as I can. I just wish I could find the grave of my second great grandfather the died while in the Civil War so I could post his photo.

Hi John, You are more than welcome. I am glad you liked the photos. I loved the pictures on both Blanche's and Katherine's memorials. I love the old pictures anyway. It is nice to put a face with the stones. I kind of liked the seasonal aspect of the photos also. Of coure you may use them on your profile.

I added the photos for Blanche and Katherine. The names on the back of the stone are worn with the weather and time. I hope you find the photos worthwhile.
