Thanks for your help Mr. Kirkley.

Hello Mr. Kirkley! I am working on the Stanley Family in Coryell and McLennan Counties. Do you happen to know if Harold Spencer was the son of Frank Spencer and Merle Alma Terry Spencer? They are buried at The Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery, Tyler, Smith County. Thank you for any help. Laurel Allen Berryhill

RE: Elijah Moore
From his death certificate and one of his daughters also buried there. This is a family that I worked on for a friend, which I'm not actively working on now. But I'm happy to pass on information if you have something different. The family came from Swan, and his death certificate says he was buried in Hopewell Cemetery in Swan.

Where I found this information was on I only had this information to go by of what cemetery they were buried in. They are not kin to me, so I can not say if they are in the correct cemetery. If not correct, please let me know, I'll be happy to moved/delete their posting.
I thank you for all you do and have done on Find A Grave.

I was wondering if you please allow us to use your pictures in our family tree. What a beautiful headstone. In all the ones we've photographed this is the first time I've seen one signed. Amazing. Thanks for considering our request. S

RE: Margie L. Cowen
I thought I sent an edit for the name part. Anyway, it should be:

Margie Louise (Renfro) Cowen. She is the daughter of James Jefferson 'J J' Renfro and Clara Sue (Beckum)Renfro.

RE: Your GrandMother at Swan
thanks for responding. My grandmother's name was Alice McBride and she died 12-22-1919. I have not been able to find her on FindAGrave or any other cemetery listings in Smith County. She died when my daddy was a little boy and he never said where she was buried. I know they lived on the north side of Tyler when she died - off what was at the time, the Dixie Highway. She may be in an unmarked grave. My grandfather is buried at Pine Springs, but my daddy never mentioned that his mother was buried there also. My daddy thought she died of the Spanish Flu and I wonder if they did something different with the bodies of the flu victims. I just wondered if there was a Swann Funeral Home, as that is what it looks like the death certificate says.

cemetery near swan
I am trying to locate where my grandmother might be buried. She died 12-1919 in Tyler, and her death certificate says Swan Funeral Home, (I think that is what I make out), but no place of burial. I am just wondering if you know of other cemeteries in the Swan area, other than Hopewell.
Thank so much,
Connie McBride Davis

RE: Grand parents request
I'm the only one that in the Shelton side of the family that has a find-a-grave account. If one of Clarences Grandchildren request that I trans, then at that time I will.
I have photos and info to add. My Grandfather is Paul Shelton and none of his siblings are alive.
