My husband and I have taken over the records for St. Patrick's. I see you have a message from Stephen Cantrell who had done great work with many cemeteries.
Unfortunately, the church is now closed and many of the "old" records from the west section are gone or incomplete. The east section is being brought up to date.
Reviewing what records I have, I see a William, George, Richard and Thomas Wynn.
If I find more information, I will contact you.
If you have other questions, my email is

The photo is all that I have. A good many stones in that cemetery were beyond recognition. I did my best on some and sadly had to leave others, without creating a memorial.
I have had some brief contact with the current sexton, but I don't get any indication that any of the old records have survived.
Some of these stones could be "brought out" with a rubbing, but I don't forsee going back to that cemetery in the near future.

Will try to finish up adding the rest of the photo's later tonight or in the morning. I will also send you a list of those who did not have markers w/ their sections & row #.
I did not get to all of your requests but will get back out there asap to finish the list.

John, Thanks for the heads up. I requested that the two sites be merged for Captain Khan. I searched for the first one, but did not see it. Connie Graham

My pleasure! There are a bunch of Elliott's in Foster, all related I'm guessing.
Have a safe weekend!

You're welcome. Unfortunately, this cemetery is not very helpful in giving out burial locations, so I just take many pictures and hope that I fulfill a request or two. You got lucky!

|Sharon Faith Glenn||RE: Clarence and Agnes Faith|
Clarence Harold Faith's father was Newton Henry Faith, a brother to my grandfather Howard Hugh Faith (6 children born to William Jasper Faith and Mary Jane (Thurman) Faith of Knox County, Illinois). Some of the Thurman's were among the earliest settlers of Knox County, and a couple arrived in the Peoria area when it consisted of about 3 cabins.
There are several of the Newton and Verna kids on whom I'm still doing research, trying to locate their path through life.
Clarence's younger sister Mary Jane lived with my grandparents for a time after the death of her mother Verna. I last saw Mary Jane at a family reunion in Spokane, Washington in June 1993. Some of the others I saw when I was a small child, but those memories have long faded.
Thanks for the help. Sharon Faith Glenn

|Sharon Faith Glenn||Clarence and Mary Faith|
Thank you so much for connecting Clarence Harold Faith to his parents, siblings and daughter. He was my mother's first cousin. We only have one problem: Clarence and his wife Mary Agnes have a headstone in the Evergreen Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Riverside, California. Clarence is listed as: 'Clarence H. Faith, 1907-1958, Find-a-Grave Memorial #113648566' Mary Agnes (Anderson) Faith, his wife, is listed as: 'Mary A. Faith, 1910-1976, Find-a-Grave Memorial #113648578'
You have the most complete information for Clarence but have them both listed as "location of ashes unknown." Clarence--#103914327 and Mary Agnes--#103914411.
How can we combine all your good work with the listings in the correct cemetery?

|John Grimm||William Elliott|
This William Elliott b. circa 1805 Md (probably now Franklin County, Pa) was my GGGrandfather. His son William b. 1834 who married Elizabeth
Wido, my GGrandfather whose daughter Sarah Ellen was my Grandmother. Sarah married George Washington Grimm my Grandfather.
I have visited Franklin County on several occasions and with the help of Kittochtinny Historical Society, Chambersburg discovered the Daley cemetery burial site of the above. After wandering around for several hours I finally asked a neighbor for help and was directed to a piece of woods which held the cemetery which was overgrown with weeds and trees.

I think you're right. Just requires more research.
I appreciate the update.
I know you've done a lot of research on the Elliott line. So do you believe that Hazel married a Larimer, like the one that is causing my confusion?

You are absolutely right. Wrong Hazel. I have revised my family tree.
Do you know if and who Hazel Elliott married or when she died?

John - Thank you for contacting me regarding the duplicate memorial for Clark Polhemus. I created it as a result of walking the cemetery and looking for markers without Find a Grave records for that cemetery. Now that the memorial you created lists that cemetery, I moved the picture to it and deleted the memorial I created.
Thanks for your detailed message - it made this update very easy.

Thanks for the very thorough reply, John. I do not currently know of a connection between myself and the McCord family. I have a book on the Wade family which has lots of information on Coradel's ancestors along that line. If you would like a PDF copy of the book, just let me know. Kind regards, Dan
