Hi. Thanks for posting the obituary. I love it when contributors add history for family members to find. My mother-in-law's maiden name is Replogle, so that is his connection to that side. I love this site too. Also, I noticed your virtual flowers for Emily's mother, Margaret Damie Replogle Wilson, also stated she was your 3rd gr. grandma and probably is your 4th. Just so you know and can change it if you want. Thanks again for your contribution! Have a blessed day. ;D

Happily transferred.

Being from Ohio, we came down here two decades ago to get away from these bitterly cold winters. Evidently we didn't go far enough south. The smallest bit of snow here will also shut the place down and that's fine with me...but they dont know how to treat the roads when it snows, and if a driver is not skilled, carefull, and in possession of a 4-wheel drive vehicle they're not going very far. That's about 98% of the people who live here.

So I'm just holding my breath and waiting for spring.

And maybe thinking of moving! LOL

Arthur Replogle
Hi. My mother-in-law has done extensive research for years on her Replogle family. I'm posting her kin on F.A.G. for her. If you want to, just scan the obit and add it as a photo to his memorial. I do that on memorials (mine and others) all the time. The info is great in original form instead of typed in the bio and also YOUR name is posted too--- getting the credit. This way, ANYONE wanting to know history about him can get read it and even contact you if they have any questions and not just me. Thanks!!

Paul MILES - Harrogate Cemetery, Claiborne County, TN
Hi Penny,
I'm going to post your photo request for Paul in a few minutes. His wife also died (I'm assuming that's who it is). There is only the funeral home marker there - no stone or anything yet. I'm going to generate a memorial for her from what I can see and then transfer it to you, unless I hear otherwise, okay? Thanks.
Lynda

RE: Ruby Rebecca Greer Watkins memorial # 11745176
Hi Penny - I, too, am related to the Long's of Grayson County and have known several of the Watkins. However, it appears I have her in the wrong cemetery. She should be in the West Cemetery where I plan to move her in a few minutes. I've been through the Troutdale Cemetery several times and if she was there, I'm sure I would've taken a photo of her stone if there was one. And, yes, to my knowledge she remarried someone named King.

You are quite welcome. Many older headstones are in poor condition but that is why I think Find A Grave is so important by providing written prove of our loved ones. I would be happy to transfer any memorials I have done for any of your family members. I only have a few relatives in this cemetery.

RE: John Almb
If you read my bio I always grant permission for anyone to use my photos from Find A Grave. No problem.

On my family tree, I think there might be some relatives on my daughter-in-laws lineage from your part of the country. The name Heber Springs sounds familiar so I might be getting back to you to see about getting local information.

If you get a chance, check out the website: http://www.gengathering.com

It is a genealogy site that is fairly new but looks for local volunteers to look up information.

I looked on my family tree and my daughter-in-law's great grandmother and more are from Heber Springs. Others I only have for Cleburn County. Her gret grandmother's maiden name was McCarty and she was married to a Sisemore - sometimes spelled Sizemore. I have both of them on Find A Grave but I am sure tere are more.

Good luck in you research.

Go to the memorial and request a transfer there. I would be glad to transfer him to you. Always happy to help.
Just request the transfer through proper channels. It makes it smooth and that way it goes to the right person.
