You created memorials #128278725 and #128095350. They are for the same woman.

T. Gladys Bradley
She was still alive when you created her memorial. I have a copy of her obituary showing she died Oct. 25, 2015. She had married Zumer Bradley in 1940. He passed away in 1965. She later married JD Freeman.

There is another memorial for her under Bradley-Freeman.

Gary Van Thomas #108396865
The picture that is on Gary's memorial is not him. He was in the air force not the navy. That pic does look like one of his brothers that was in the navy.

Gary was my uncle. I would be happy to upload a pic of him.

I did notice your name on several of my family's memorials. If you would like to transfer them to me. I'd be more than happy to maintain them.

Ollie Jeffs Powers Relative
Hello ma'am, my name is Kevin Cantrell and while looking on this site, I came across your memorial for Granny Ollie Powers (111711328). She was Grandpa Billy Powers wife. I've heard so many stories about Granny Ollie taking care f Grandpa Billy after he went totally blind. She would dress him up for Church services and would lead him around through the house. Even though he was blind, she'd let him babysit the grandchildren, and from what my grandmother's family have said, he did great caring for the children.
I was wondering if there would be any way I could take care of Granny Ollie's memorial? If so, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you for your time and for making a memorial for her. She was a very kind woman from what I've been told. -

Hello Tricia,

My name is Sherry Martin. The memorial referenced in the subject line belongs to my great great Uncle. My grandmother ( his niece) recently passed and I came across his memorial book while cleaning out her house. Thought I would give you additional information to update his memorial. I do not request that you transfer it to me as I don't really have much time to work on genealogy although I love it so. His full name was William Cooper Jones Jr. The family called him "Dub"
His birth and death dates were b 20 May 1919 & 28 April 1976. He was born in Cisco Texas and was the son of William Cooper Jones and Annie Pearlee Miller. I have extensive information on the Jones family and would love to share with you. The problem is the lap top all the information on is not currently operating. Let me know if you would like more information on the Jones and I will pass the information to you as soon as I get it fixed. Thank You for your time, effort and attention to these memorials. God Bless You.

Tombstone, Jerry Lee Goodman
This was my mother's brother and his actual birthday was Dec. 31, 1932. He went home to be with Jesus at age 16 after a tractor accident. Not sure why the year was engraved incorrectly. Hope this is helpful to someone else...

grave marker photos
I was in the lawn haven Memorial Cemetery in Clovis, NM, yesterday looking for a few on the people for who photo requests have been submitted.

While there, I noticed that a few markers had been updated with 2015 burial dates. One of them was for Marie C. Hobdy. There is no memorial for her, or her husband - Emmett Lee Hobdy, so I need to search for obituaries on them.

After photographing their marker, I noted a marker for Emmett H. and Fay F. Hobdy right next to it. For the hell of it, I photographed their marker too.

When I got home, I found their memorials ID # 105330553 and 105300573. There were not photos of their markers on their memorials, so I put them on there today.

Since you are listed on both memorials, I thought I would update you.

Leonard J. Wilson 104740755
I made a typo inputting the memorial number for Leonard's father. Please reject it and when I get the acknowledgment email that it was rejected I will put in the correct memorial numbers. If you would like to enter them: Leonard's father is 31471742 (Samuel Wilson). Leonard's mother is Nannie Owens Wilson, 31471743.

Mayfield Connection
My fingers have gotten ahead of my brain. Myree Mayfield was a 1st Cousin 2 times removed. Yakely Mayfield was my great Uncle and Willy Belle was my Great Aunt. Do you know if Willy Belle Clay, Yakely's wife was related to Emma Velma Mayfield's husband Walter Clay?

Mayfield Connection
I went back and reread what you wrote in your reply. You and I then are very closely related. Myree Helton was a great Aunt.

My Mother was Ellen Grace Jones. Her mother was Cynthia Ava Curtis. Cynthis Ava Curtis has a sister named Ethel Cleo Curtis. Cynthia Ava Curtis married George Winston Jones. George Winston Jones' Father is George Thomas Jones and Mother is Eula Grace Mayfield. Jesse Mayfield was Eula Grace Mayfield's youngest brother and he married Ethel Cleo Curtis.

I knew my Great Grandmother Eula Grace Mayfield and I knew Jesse. I did not know Emma, Yakely, or Alma personally. However they were talked about so much I felt I knew them.

Thanks for sharing.

Sibling-Half Sibling
I figured out what the problem was and I have fixed it. I appreciate you responding back to me.

I appreciate hearing about the Mayfields. Eula Mayfield was my Great Grand Mother. My Mother's Father's Mother. Jesse married my grandmother's sister. So as a result I have lots of family members that I am related to in more than one way. Dorothy's son's name was Arthur called, "Art," same as his Father. Except his Father was Arthur. Except his father was Arthur August Matistic and the son is Arthur Joe Matistic. Do you know when Emma Velma Mayfield was born? She was married to a Walter Clay.

Thanks again for sharing.

George Winston Jones Jr. 8437798
On the memorial it list all of George Winston Jones' siblings as "half siblings". They are not half siblings they are full siblings having the same parents, Mother and Father.

Ellen Grace Jones is my Mother and George Winston Jones Jr is my Uncle.
