Anson Green Phelps James
Anne changed her records to show that he was born in NYC. I changed the info. Thanks for the info. Anne tracks descendants of the the owners of the vaults. So, if you are a descendant, you might consider contacting her.

I forwarded the info to Anne Brown, the historian of the Marble Cemetery. When I hear from her, I will change the city where he was born. Thanks for the info. I am sure that Anne will be happy to add to her records!

Hello Ted,

Yes you may use the photos on John Geddie's Memorial.

According to cemetery records, his wife Charlotte is buried in the same grave, along with a Helen Jessie MacDonald died 1945 (daughter maybe??) There must be a marker for them somewhere close by. I will go and have a look this weekend and take a photo and create a memorial pages for them as well.

Cheers,
Ron.

Hi Ted,

I think I will add the information you sent via message. That way at least the information will be available for family if they were to need it.

Thank you,

Julie

Hi Ted,

Good morning. This sounds very complicated. :o) Would you like a transfer of these 2 memorials? If not, that is ok too.

Sincerely,

Julie

I've made the changes you suggested to his memorial. Please check that I have all the info correct.

Thanks for suggesting these changes! When I created memorials for the Civil War soldiers buried in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, I wasn't able to find much information about any of them.

RE: Mary Josephine Lori Atterbury
Hello Ted,
Yes... I live on the West Coast, in Southern California. How impressive that you were able to track Mary Atterbury down so far away and so many generations removed. :-)
East Preston sounds like a lovely place to live. My ancestors were from Taunton and Rolvendon not too far from you - and I lived in Colchester for a while. England is so beautiful!

Hi Ted,
Thank you for the additional information to post to Mary's memorial. I added it and credited it to you.
Whereabouts in the UK are you?
Best regards,

Hitchcock in the Marble Cemetery
I have added a little more info from their book. They do have a web site: http://www.marblecemetery.org/ They are continually getting new information.

The book also uses a reference:
Hitchcock, Mary. Genealogy of the Hitchcock Family. Amherst, MA: Carpenter & Morehouse, 1894.

The book might be helpful.
