I was wondering if you are a relative of Doris and if you knew how to obtain copies of the book that she wrote, Pioneer Journey? Bev Knight

RE: Cora Hutchison
Sarah I went to the Buffington Cemetery today, I did get some graves on their website, no Cora Hutchison.
Although there is a Mary, wife of P.J. Buffington Died Feb. 15, 1850 Aged 42rs 10 mos and 28 days. I could not submit her grave photo, it is broken on the top left corner, the other piece is piled there, I think with the other stones awaiting repair. I am sorry. Although there is a tiny unreadable stone next to the Mary's I am speaking of above.

RE: Cora Hutchison
Mary BUFFINGTON. She was married 15 Dec 1875, at Louisa County, Iowa to Edward SELLERS. Information came from Louisa County Marriage Book E, Page 8; her father's obituary in the Columbus Gazette of April 11, 1918.

Can you give me more information on Mary; birth death or is this the Mary that is in Buffington Cemetery?

RE: Mary Buffington
Cora Hutchison, I have looked in the Buffington Cemetery records and there is no Cora Hutchison. Do you know her parents names, were they in Iowa?

Mary I tried to get to the Buffington Cemetery yesterday but you have to walk thru a timber and part of a bean field; the only route. We have had over 3 inches of rain here and more to come so when it dries some I will try and get back down there.

Thank you

Thank you for taking the photo of Mary Agnew's grave stone and documenting an artifact that helps tell the story of her life.

Thank you very much for all your photos of the Taylors in First Belmont! I have much earlier photos taken by a long gone mother-in-law, maybe of the same people, but it was in the 1960s, or even earlier, that they were taken and the information is illegible. You have done our family a super favor!!
