Rosalind Buckner
Re: Cora Belle
I am a descendant of Ellen Buckner. Great great grand daughter of Malindy and Charles Wilson, Ellen's parents. Ellen Buckner is my great grand mother. My grandmother was her daughter Elizabeth Buckner. I started searching for family last years and also come up with tons if info and photos.

Ellen's parents were Malinda and Charles Wilson. There is a book written on their story. Malindy's Freedom. The story Ellen told her great grand daughters before she died. How Malindy a full blooded Cherokee was unlawfully enslaved by a Missouri Farmer. The book also shows photos of Ellen's children, there is also a photo of Ellen and her granddaughter Blanche.

I have plenty of other information and still looking for more. If I could be of any help please don't hesitate. I would love to see what you have found.

RE: Cora Bell Buckner Palmer
I'm glad you have found the information useful. My mother provided me with the outline of the Buckner family after her sister Catherine Buckner Cotledge died, and I spent about 2 years digging through the archives trying to put together the missing pieces. Much of the information I have, such as the details of Cora Belle's death, I found only by an exhaustive search of the State of Missouri Death Certificate database. I have amassed a large amount of information on the both Nelson and Ellen Buckner's children if you are missing some information. I've just been too busy to publicly enter more of the material I have.

One thing neither I nor my mother have any photos of the Buckner family - do you have any photos from this side of the family?

And another question : According to my notes, Belle Buckner had two children - Blanche, and one other child whose name I cannot identify. Can you fill me in on who her children are? Also, do you have any information on Louis Parker's family ties?

Actually I have lots of questions - possibly we can discuss all of this via email?

RE: Frank Lumbert
The photo request I received was for the grave marker of Henry Lumbert and the info on the request matches what is on the stone. I have not receive a request for Frank Lumbert's marker as of this date.

Okay, that would be appreciated. Could you also ask them if the grave is marked in any way? I don't know whether or not they have that information. When I asked them that general question, they said that there might or might not be information in their records on whether or not there was even a gravestone in the grounds portion of the cemetery. I have come upon several plot locations where there is no gravestone.
