You can create virtual cemeteries with all your family members even if you do not manage their memorials. Check out the virtual cemetery tab. Create your cemetery then when you are on a person's memorial page you can add them to your cemetery. If you have more than one virtual cemetery it allows you to choose which ones you want to add the memorial to. If you have further information you would like the memorial to include, use the edit button and let the manager know the details that way- it makes it much easier to update and add stuff. You can also add photos to a memorial even if you don't manage it.

|Carrie Dominguez||Clarence Eugene Smith and Martha Ann Walbrick Smith|
Clarence Eugene Smith and Martha Ann (Annie) (Walbrick)Smith are my great grandparents. I just found them on this site and it was a shocked, to say the least,to find them here. What relation are you to this couple? Do you have any pictures to share?

I came across another Dickey photo that could be related to you. Tag on Margaret Rash at Smith Mountain Cemetery website. I really think her maiden name was Dickey.
Thought you might like to check it out.

I am not 100% sure what you want me to do. If you want me to transfer some memorial pages to you please use the EDIT button on the upper right of the page), and the click on the SUGGESTION link when the next page comes up.
In the e-mail form that comes up, tell me that you want me to transfer the page to you, and explain your relationship to the perdon.
I will receive an e-mail that will give me a direct link to the page as well as your ID#. It will make the transfer easy.
Generally speaking, I follow the guidelines for transfers set forth by FINDAGRAVE.

Oh, okay, I found them now. I'm sorry, but since I didn't create their memorials, I can't transfer them to you. A lady named "Carlene R" is who you have to ask. Look at the bottom of each of their memorials and you will see her name. Click on her name and maybe she will transfer them to you. I only took the photos.

Yeah, I don't mind at all transferring them. But could you tell me what cemetery they are in? I have a lot of Smith names, but I didn't see a Eugene Smith that I have created. Unless that is his middle name.

Hi, I'm not sure what you are requesting... if you wish a transfer I'll need to know the number for the memorial. Thanks, LBruns

Who is you grandpa? I would be glad to send photo of his headstone to you.

All Dickey photos have now been posted. Darlene Dickey's gravestone is attached to a larger stone of that belonging to Don Schofield. Since Darlene was a newborn when she died, perhaps her mother was married a second time. A grave next to Don Schofield's is Amanda Schofield's. That may be a mystery for you????
There is a bonus photo I took for you after I was told by one of the caretakers a little cemetery history. Both Elmer and Albert Dickey are members of the original Smith Mountain Cemetery Board of Directors. The cemetery was founded in 1911. I posted a photo of the marble display showing the Dickeys listed above as board members. Those pics are in both Elmer's and Albert's memorial pages. I will be making another photo trip in about a week and will take any new photos you have or will request.

I will try and take photos of all other Dickeys buried in Smith Mountain Cemetery and I will upload them to the names they go with. Hopefully this will help you match you family tree together. I assume that most, if not all, of the Dickeys buried there are related in some way. I will message you when they are all uploaded.
Good luck! Susan

|Susan Thompson||Smith Mountain request|
When I filled the last request for Sabina and Ziska Dickey I suspected one would come in for another family member and uploaded Maude M Dickey. The spelling is not the same on the headstone, but pretty sure it's who you are looking for. If you are positive of the spelling "Maud", then the headstone is wrong. My grandmother's death date was two weeks after she actually died. Mistakes are not that uncommon.

Brittnie, I found the photo on Ancestry.com. I try to put a few personal details on any memorial I add to Find A Grave to make it easier for people to identify their family members.
I always try to give credit to the original poster, but sometimes a photo has been shared around by a number of people and it is hard for me to tell who the owner is. In any case, I do acknowledge that I got the photo off of Ancestry in the comments.
Sorry if it got your hopes up that there might be another source of information!
