RE: name of cemetery
You don't give the name of your relative, but Steele County is located right next to Dodge County, MN - and there is an Evergreen Cemetery in Mantorville (Dodge Co), MN. It's possible that the cemetery is so close to county line that the county was mistaken in the article or perhaps the county line changed over the years?
I actually live in Scott County, MN - so I am not real familiar with Steele or Dodge Counties.

Hi Rosie,
Love to see people interested in family history. You know it is fulfilling Bible prophesy didn't you? Mal. 4
5 ¶Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord:

6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
Keep up the great work!!

RJ Howery
Hi Rosie, Hope your Thanksgiving was good. Ours was. RJ was my father's "look-a-like" cousin. We saw a lot of him. Always called him "RJ" But Tim has his name as "Rudolph Joseph" in the 'book' he wrote about the Howery family. That's where I would have gotten it from. Helen

If she died in Ionia, she should be buried with her husband, I have added her name in Highland Park Cemetery, In the spring will ask for a picture of their stones. If she is not buried there I can always take her out.

Mary Howery Smith
Someone told me (though a newspaper article) that Mary was a first grade student in the Bath School district when someone bombed the school. Is that correct?
At this time, I have added it to her memorial, but if it's incorrect, I will delete it.
Thanks in advance.
Merry Christmas and God Bless

M.E. Packard
Arrie Smith
Hi Rosie,

I transferred Arrie Smith to you. Glad to help. It's nice that you have so many photos--I believe I've seen your tree on Ancestry. Yes, I am the Packard who is related to Fred (by marriage). My grandpa's sister was Stella (Packard) Smith, Fred's second wife.

Thanks so much for the offer about Leslie. I try to visit there at least once a year (to the cemetery), but I live in Florida, so I don't always get the opportunity. I grew up in Suttons Bay.

I'll write you more later when my nails are dry. Nice to hear from you, and let me know if you want any other transfers.

:) Mary

Would you email me off-line. I'd be interested in talking to you about your Rhines line. My 2ggrandmother was a Rhines. I have info on all of the Rhines that originated in NY. Always willing to share. Judy

Mary Laycock Hunt Rhines
Hi Rosie

I fixed her memorial, see if it looks right this time. It seems like her name should be Mary Hunt (1st). Did Henry adopt her. If not, then I guess I should change it to Mary Hunt Rhines. Your call. Judy

RE: fairview, Dansville MI
The book you mention "A Place in time", where did you get it? We like to find historical information to place on our memorials.

Sorry the information about George you were looking for could not be found. But who knows, someday it might surface.

RE: fairview, Dansville MI
I have added a smuch information as I could find. Look high & low for the 1870 census which might of answered who George was living with.

I wonder if Clarrisa remarried? Let us know if you have anything else to add or find any interesting information.

Thank you,
