RE: William H Evans
Rick,
I was able to make it down to the Denver Library for further research for you. Spoke with the librarian regarding the Horan Morturary records and the book for Year 1905 was not included in the records to the Library from Horan and they do not know whare the book is located. William H Evans was noted in the Index, as this was a seperate book.
I was able to locate the funeral notice in the Denver Rocky Mountain News dated Sept 5, 1905, which indicates he resided in Denver at 1829 Stout Street, Denver. This address I was able to locate was for "Hotel Law" at ths time. I do have a photo availabe of the Hotel as well and can send that to you seperately, if you'd like.

I have included the funeral notice on his memorial page and will provide an area photo where he is buried as soon as possible. As noted prior, there is not a headstone placed for William.

I also checked the city directory for 1903-1904 but William was not listed for those years.
Hope this helps you out a little.

Do you have his parents names? Have you checked the census records on Ancestry.com? I looked for William H Evans on familyserch.com com as well, but did not find anything further.

You can access Ancestry.com for no charge at a Federal Records location, like National Archives or your local library may have free access as well.

Let me know if I can assist further.

Hi Rick,
I wanted to let you know that I placed a cancellation for your photo request on the site, however I will followup with an area photo for you ASAP.
Give me a couple of weeks or so to get down to the library to complete the research and we'll go from there. I'll be in touch ASAP. I happy and excited to assist.
Thanks
Robin

Rick I was able to locte the Horan records that are currently at the Denver Library. The above link should take you to the Denver Library website area for Horan, However...it looks as though only the library staffers...sorry it's not much help for you...but maybe..just maybe if you call them, they may be able to assist.

Otherwise, I may be able to assist by going to the main Denver Library and asking for the info.

Also,
since Farimount has indicated that the grave is unmarked, would you like me to provide you an area photo? If you have the plot info, I can get close.

Thanks
Robin

William Evans Photo request at Farimount
Rick,
I've spoken with the cemetery office and they have noted that William H Evans is NOT buried at Fairmount...However...I reasearched the records further and have found that a Wm H Evans is at Fairmount with a death date of Sept 7, 1905. If you are family, please contact the cemetery office for plotinformation and verify if there is a headstone in place and I will be happy to obtian the photo.

Please note: Fairmount Cemetery office is now charging F.A.G. voluteers for plot and location information, as of Nov 20, 2012. The charge is $5.00 per locate request..HOWEVER...family members may contact the cemetery office to get the info and provide it to a F.A.G. Volunteer for photographing.
Thanks
Robin

RE: Mabel Sisson
I did see Lester next to Mabel but I didn't think anything of it at the time. If you're interested in his headstone submit another photo request and I'll get it taken care of. There was also a George and Margaret in the area too (possible children?).
