I am not sure if I thanked you for the photo- I go away for four months each year with no internet- I try to get into town and get on line a couple times a month but there is so much stuff to delete I seldom have time to do what I intended to do- Anyhow thank you for the great photo of my cousins grave marker. Sincerely Karen Gould Norman

|Scott McPherson||Peterman Headstone Donaldson Cemetery|
Hi, I was just out at Donaldson yesterday and took the photo for the Peterman headstone. I can delete it if you are going out to take other photos. My wife has many relatives and distant cousins buried at Donaldson as we both are from the Sault. I found the Peterman headstone fairly easily, but I did not find any of the other Find A Grave photo requests. I was going to call the cemetery Sexton to see if she could give me a location for the other headstones. I will be in town for a couple more days.

You are correct that the names with no markers are Isaac & Wihelmina Ahola.
I did make a note on their memorials that no marker was on their resting place.
I thank you for all your help and the great marker photos you were able to obtain for me.

The first e-mail I received stated there was no marker then a little later I go an e-mail that their marker photos had been downloaded!
So apparently you received help from the cemetery to find their resting place!
I thank you very much for taking the time to return, double check and download marker photos for me.

Ok, I just made a 'formal request' for Charles.
His name is also on the marker of his wife.

I'm getting cross eyed today and really don't remember if I thanked you for the marker photo for Evelyn.
I really appreciate all you've done for me in getting family marker photos.

I see her husband, Charles in on the same marker and I'm wondering if you could put the photo on his Find A Grave memorial also.

Thank you so much for locating their resting place and letting me know there are no markers for them.
I did make a note to that fact on their memorials.

Good luck with your searches. I've been to the Allegan Co clerk's office so many times I think they know me. There's such a wealth of info there. I, too, have family in Mt Home Cemetery in Otsego and in the Plainwell Cemetery where my parents are. What families do you research? Maybe we have some in common. Mine are Curtiss, Bedunah, Armstrong, Thompson, Austin. My husband's DeYoungs are in Iowa and Kansas.

Do you need photos taken in the Allegan Co/Kalamazoo area? I'll be here for another month, then we go to Central Florida (Haines City) and I could take pics there too. Let me know if I can be of help.

|Marylin DeYoung||Merl & Mabel Stearns|
Hi again. I really was mixed up. Thanks for photographing Merle and Mabel Stearns gravestones. I hope I have it right now. Mabel's brother, James Bedunah married Merl's sister, Alice Stearns. I just got it all mixed up. They aren't direct descendants of mine, but Mabel and James Bedunah were siblings of my grandmother. Sorry for all the confusion. Unfortunately, I don't know how to take off the incorrect messages. (And I'm really not senile either!)

Thanks very much for the photo for Jane McDonald in the Sacred Heart Cemetery Detour. I have submitted separate requests for each of her children as you requested. Yes, I would appreciate a photo taken for the one you took a rubbing of. I do not have a memorial for this one ... perhaps you could send it to my email address or hang onto it while I do a little research. Thank you so very much!

Yes, these would be the graves! Mary "Jane" and many of her children...John, Mollie, George, James, and it is possible Howard and Angus are also buried there. I would greatly appreciate any or all you can post! Thank you very much!

|StellaMGW||RE: Mabel Burkett/Edward Egge|
Thank you so much for your message and you help. What is really weird as I never assigned them to the Italian Maplewood cemetery. I'm 100% positive about that. Their memorials somehow changed to the Italian cemetery (it is very, very odd to me on this end!). I had no idea that Italian cemetery even existed. My mother told me that Mabel was in the Maplewood in Hudson Twp (as that is her grandmother), so I know it was entered correct originally. As for Edward Egge, I assumed he was buried next to Mable, but he easily might not be. I have corrected both of their memorials to reflect the location in Hudson Twp.
Again, thank you for your time and help! Also, thank you for the MIGenWeb site. I didn't know about that and it will definitely help in my searched for other family members.
Have a great day and I hope you had a happy 4th!

Thank you for your time and effort to get the photo of Colleen Deal Seltzer at Rudyard Township Cemetery and for sharing it via findagrave. Much appreciated.
Would you please consider also adding a closeup of just the gravestone, without the information border that you added? Thanks! My eyes are old, and she was a childhood friend. I'd like to see closeup what her marker looks like.

|Annette Browning||RE: Sante Mirabelli (unknown - unknown)|
Hello, I'm not sure if I answered this or not. Sante Mirabella would definitely be in the Catholic section. I have an approximate date of birth of 1870. If you can find anything, it would be greatly appreciate it! Annette

Thanks for letting me know so quickly; I can certainly wait until spring! A Michigander by birth, I sometimes forget about snow being a factor in other's lives now that I'm an adopted GRIT. :)
When you can; I'll look forward to whatever you can find/do.

I totally understand why my request will take a while to fulfill.
We are behind in snow fall amounts but I do keep an eye on what is happening inf the UP of MI as I still have relatives living in the UP. Mostly in Houghton Co.
No hurry, wait until the snow is gone, the gound is dry & the weather is better for cemetery walking.
