RE: Hazel Hall
There were several Hall's buried in that area in case you were interested:
Everett Cameron Hall, Leland Stanford Hall, Louis C. and Margaret Nola Hall, Michael Kelley Hall (best photo I could get with that type of stone)and Melvina Pollard Hall. Linda

Julie Nathanson
RE: Catherine Carley
Catherine Carley died June 8 1852 aged 1 year and 10 mos. Born in Aquidnick, RI. "May their souls rest in peace." Erected by _______?

RI cemetery database lists her parents as Patrick and Bridget. A more accurate estimated DOB is 1850.

Is this right Catherine?

This particular cemetery has many Irish and French immigrant graves. Most are marked with marble gravestones. Unfortunately many of these stones are in a similar condition. I photographed all the marble markers in that cemetery in an effort to archive the information before it can no longer be read.

Let me know if I have posted the wrong Catherine.

Gerard Paquin
I see you have moved Gerard Paquin from St Mary's to St Joseph's. As your memorial is the original memorial, I will delete mine or transfer mine to you which I was going to do anyway as you are family. I only created it as I located the grave marker which I knew you was looking for. Before I delete, I am going to find out how these two memorials can be merged as I added his family members to mine so that info remains.

I appreciate this. If you have something like this that I can cut & paste in I'd appreciate it. If you go to my contributors page you'll find a virtual cemetery for the LaPlata tornado. Check all of them out. I found a relative of my dads 1st wife who was in that tornado and how he messed up his arm. I knew him for years but never knew that. Until I did some research. Cool huh! Check out Carl Braatz in Cedar Hill in Suitland! Fred

RE: Geo Brady
Hello,
I have just now found your message. I bought this photo at auction. It was in all likelihood put up because George was a Confederate soldier during the Civil War. I did some research online and found information about his family, his military service, and his burial/cemetery/gravestone. No, unfortunately, there were no other photos that came with it. I no longer have George's photo. I'm a antique photograph dealer, so I'm buying and selling all the time. I assume that this was the first photo that you have seen of him. If you haven't already, you could copy the photo that I put up on his memorial site. I doubt there being any copyright infringements. Sorry, I couldn't be of more help.
Sincerely,
Steven

RE: Delia Beaudry
Hi Beth,

According to findagrave, there are some St. Jeans and Beadrys in the St. Paul area not far from Union Cemetery where Delia is, including Calvary and Oakland in Ramsey County, Resurrection in Dakota County and a number of other cemeteries in Hennepin County.

Union Cemetery has a very detailed mapping system on their website: http://unioncemeterymn.org/ . If you go to their website, do a "burial search" for Beaudry and zoom-in on Delia's grave site, you'll notice that unlike some of the grave sites neighboring hers, there is no graphical representation of a marker or monument shown. You could also confirm that her grave is unmarked by calling the office in case the interactive mapping system is wrong. However, I couldn't locate a marker during my brief visit.

I used to simply report that there is no marker and leave it at that. Now, I've begun temporarily marking grave sites with a simple cross so folks at least have a photo showing what the grave site looks like. I was pleased that the fall foliage was in full flourish when I stopped-by.

Good luck with your research. Send me a note if I can be of more help.

Rob

Beaudry
I have some Beaudry's in my family tree. They are not direct relatives of mine, but I'd be happy to help if I can.

There is a Minnesota death certificate index for certain years on line through the MN History Center. mnhs.org

There is a Delia Beaudry that died in Ramsey County (St Paul is in Ramsey Co.) date of death Feb 16, 1954, Certid# 1954-MN-025059. The death date is close to the date of the letter you received.

There are 5 Joseph Beaudry's in the index, but I don't have enough information to know if any of them are your Joseph.

Hope this helps!
Shelly

Thank you,
I appreciate the photo on the Summers lot that is unmarked. Too bad it has all eroded over the years. It would be nice to know which Summers it belongs to. I have put it in my family tree and also included what you said about the stone. Thank you very much for finding it and photographing it. Leslie
