you are correct. mine is the oldest. If you add the photo to my memorial and delete your memorial, I will transfer to which you should have requested in the first place

Death of Leonard
Can you tell me your source for the info about Leonard Ethier's death at Lachine?

RE: Stephen Oliver
No problem, it was the second grave marker that I looked at in the Hull Cemetery, so it was a quick find!

...and De Groote
I am catching up placing photos, and I put the family stone for George and Josephine DeGroote Hickey up. Thought you might like to know (if you don't already) that St. Joe Mish also has many, many DeGrootes (It's still a big name in our Parish, St. Bavo. Sometimes you can miss them in a search, because the older generations of Belgians left a space in the spelling, "De Groote."

Daveline and a question
I transfered your ancestor's memorial... It's always a thrill when someone is "found." I noticed the name Eckstein in your tree... I have three memorials in St. Joe Mishawaka and there are five total. Let me know if any of mine fit, and I'll transfer them to you asap.

No problem! (That reminds me... I got better shots of this grave today... Late summer is a bad time - lillies were overgrown.

RE: Riordan - Reardon
I think to prevent duplicates you should add something in the BIO and/or NOTES about the surname variant. Walter has a memorial under Walter Reardon. Local records also use REARDON. Just a thought! There is a John Sullivan Jun 20, 1832 - Jul 20, 1897 in Saint Marys.

RE: Correction
OK - I will send an email from my gmail. I will put Find A Grave in the subject line.
The name will not be Graceti.
Check your junk folder if you don't see the message in a few minutes.

RE: Correction to Louis Etier Hickey
I was using that memorial to contact you about the correct procedure to add a town to the list for Quebec or elsewhere. It is just one of the ways for one contributor to contact another.
The info had nothing to do with Louis Ethier Hickey, and I was not making any suggestion about his memorial.
Sorry for the confusion.
But if you would like the town of Saint-Roch-de-l'Achigan to be added to the list for Quebec, follow my instructions that I sent to you.

RE: Frances Fanny Doyle Pictures
This is strange. When I go to the memorial, all I see is Fanny's stone and the Avery family stone - not the crosses. Then I tried to upload Fanny's stone to Nellie May's memorial, but it's not showing up. Maybe I'll try to log out and log back in, and see what happens.

John Doyle
Susan Pratt Habermann - 46910912 - has John Doyle's memorial. also, I removed one photo from Fanny's mem; do you want me to remove all?

RE: Joe Doyle
It actually looks like John Doyle.

Nellie May
It's fine if you delete my photos. I did get another shot today... It looks like the odd stone in the line is Joe Doyle. Any relation?

Added by SuzyMish on Mar 10, 2013 2:32 PM

Nellie May Avery...
... does not have her own stone, so I did not create a memorial for her. Also, there's a strange stone to the left of the iron cross. I'm going up there today and I'll get a better shot.

SO GLAD to have this mystery solved. This troubled me for so long; they are buried together but I could not understand how they were related!
