|Sallye||RE: hallie Newberry McElhose Harrison|
Sorry, so long in returning reply, between internet down over a week and husband's recently eye surgery, I so behind. I am on the Harrison side. My grandfather, Claude M. Harrison, and Hallie's husband, Jefferson (Jeff) Harrison were brothers. There were 6 Harrison brothers who came to IT in 1900 with their parents James Alexander and Sarah Jane (Cobb) Harrison. They lived and raised their families in Durant, Bryan Co., OK. Hallie and Jeff's son Clyne Harrison was a 1st cousin with my dad and his siblings. I've seen letters which indicate how close they were. My grandfather died when my father(Claude D. Harrison) was a teenager. And my father died when I was three yrs.. I remember my Harrison grandmother and an older cousin taking me to Hallie and Jeff's big white house and lots of people visiting. As I have researched and found "cousins" on all sides with connections to Hallie and Jeff, the one thing I've heard is about the house, the groups of people and music. When my mom and step-dad retired from NM back to her home town of Durant, they bought a home next door to Clyne Harrison. His wife Nancy gave me one of her painting, which I cherish. Would love to communicate and share with you what I have, the families are so intertwined:). My private email is email@example.com , sincerely, Claudia Sallye Harrison
PS my last trip to Durant, I drove by the house and it has been painted blue and could use some repair.

Of course, and I did take one of Jeff side, but I can't find memorial for him, so will make one when I get the information together. I made Hallie's, when couldn't find one. Jeff is my great uncle, his brother Claude is my grandfather. their son Clyne lived next door to my parents in Durant before he passed and they moved into town.
how are you connected? Always want to meet fellow researchers. My personal email is firstname.lastname@example.org. On ancestry.com I'm ClaudiaHarrison45. My tree is Harrison Family Tree. I took lots of headstone pic of Harrison's. Parish, Lambert, and Ward when visiting in Durant in May.

|George G. Morgan||Wilson & Knox Photos|
Thank you so very much for taking the time to photograph the gravestones at the Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Isaac Lawrence Wilson and Harriett Idella Wilson Knox were siblings of my paternal grandmother, Laura Augusta "Minnie" Wilson Murphy Morgan. Rjchard Chalmers Knox was the husband of our Great-Aunt Della.
I plan a trip to Mecklenburg County next year and have many, many ancestors and relatives buried in cemeteries there. I'm mapping them out so that I can visit and pay my respects to all of them.
Thank you again for your kind generosity in photographing these graves for me and for others.

|Marlys||RE: Gustava Larson Bergren|
The monument was the only Bergren we found. It does look fairly new for someone who died in 1932, but we thought maybe a family monument had been added to replace crumbling stones, since there were no ground plates or other ID near this monument.
If you check with your mom and she says no, I'll gladly remove the photo, just let me know ☺
