No, I am not related either, I just like to photograph cemeteries. If the research you found used the Hale Collection, then the date was probably a misread. I'll go ahead and send Linda Mac a correction. She's not responding at the moment, but eventually I'll get a correction. Thanks for your input. ASB

I'm not positive, but I think the death year on this stone says 1849, not 1843 as reported in the Hale Collection. You seem to be related, What do you think? ASB

Wayne, Thank you so much for checking out the Bateman photo requests. I really appreciate all your time in checking for Stephen's marker. It is understandable that the marker has deteriorated or moved after all these years. Perhaps there was never a marker to begin with.
