|Debra MacLaughlan-Dumes||Thanks for the photo!|
Hello JoeyC, thanks so much for adding this photo of my uncle's and aunt's grave marker. Alva MacLaughlan Jr. was my dad's brother and I was too young to remember meeting him. But this is a photo I'll treasure. I'm very grateful!

|Nancy Domjanovich||RE: Clara M. & Linnie M. DAVIS|
Thank you very much, Joey. I don't really care if the memorials are transferred to me, but I do have some information I could post on the site. So whatever you decide is okay with me.
I work Holy Cross Cem. in Culver City, Los Angeles Co. CA, if you ever have any requests for that cemetery.

|Nancy Domjanovich||Clara M. & Linnie M. DAVIS|
Would it be possible for you to take a photo to send to me of Clara M. Davis & Linnie M. Davis? Both of them are in Block 1, Row 5 of Lauderdale Memorial Park. You recently, in April 2014, made their memorials.
Can you put the photos on their memorials or send them to me at
Are you related to them? We are cousins through our great, great grandmother, Linda Brigham. Linnie Davis' maiden name was Brigham.
Let me know if you want me to make a formal request through the site.

|Celeste Hampton||RE: Zunzunegui|
Why, that would be lovely.
Thank you. I appreciate your doing this, and wonder why one would choose to make an electronic gravesite for someone unknown? Her son is buried there as well. We called him Pepe. She also had a son, Julio, but I do not know where he is buried. They were all born in Cuba.
I am very grateful.

Those are not family members. Louis Hartz was born with the name Louis Herz and he was my grandfather's half brother. The mothers of both Louis and my grandfather died in their early 40s. If it possible, but unlikely that the people could be related on Louis''s mother's side. But none of her children knew any of her relatives to my knowledge.
Louis's wife Ida, who I knew, I recently found out is also a relative of mine (but not of his.) Someone went to Germany and got Ida Hartz's birth and marriage certificates. It turns out her maiden name was Reinheimer and she is the daughter of my great-grandmother Rebecka Reinheimer's brother. (Rebecka is my grandfather's mother, but not Louis Hartz's mother.) So I am related to both of Ida's parents and to my knowledge these people are not related to them either.??
My father and Ida never said anything about being related. I don't think he knew but she may have. She and Louis left for America long before my father was born. Even my grandfather was a teenager when they married and went to America.So he probably did not know that she was related to his mother, (my grandfather's mother) who died when my grandfather was 2 years old.
It's very interesting. Ida was born Ida Reinheimer . Then she became Ida Herz. When Louis and Ida came to America they changed their last name to Hartz.
I am still looking for the graves of Ida's daughter Jennie Hartz Gordon. It's really weird. She died a few days after Ida, but I can not find anything about where she is buried. I also can't find where her husband, Harry Gordon is buried. They both died in Miami. Jennie in April 1971 and Harry in May 1964. If you come across anything, please let me know. Harry owned a funeral home, so you'd think it would be easy to find. Their son James Gordon was buried in Mount Nebo Cemetery in Kendall (it was in his obituary) but I can't find Harry and Jennie in either cemetery.
Thanks so much.

Thank you for taking the photo of the grave of my great-uncle Louis Herz/Hartz. What do you call the monument that says Hartz that is in front of their headstones? Also, there appear to be two more headstones facing theirs. Do those belong to other people, or family members? Thank you so much, again.
We have no photos of Louis, my grandfather's brother. This is the closest thing we have. Thank you again.

Thank you for photographing Dorothy Beaird's Gravesite. Unfortunately not the one I'm looking for.
I was looking for a Dorothy Beaird that I'm sure she died in South or Central Florida. Her husband's name was Rathmal Beaird and they were my Aunt and Uncle.
