|Phil Cushman||McGee Cemetery, Montgomery, TN|
I have several relatives said to be buried in McGee Cemetery and I plan to visit Clarksville in April to try to search McGee and other cemeteries. Thus far I have found addresses sufficient to locate all of the other cemeteries but not McGee. Following (on Google Earth) the directions I have found for McGee doesn't show me anything that resembles a cemetery. Do you by any chance have more specific directions or GPS coordinates that will help me locate the place? I will appreciate any help you can offer.

Hi there. I am tracking some Healy's from canada that settled in Coffee county, Tennessee for a short time and also had family in Davidson county, Tennessee. I am curious would you know if this Healy happened to have roots in Canada? I too am curious about the Healy/Haley name. There are many Haley's buried in our local city cemetery, but only two Healy's. I wondered at first if it was a misspelling but I have found most records for the father of the two Healy's to be consistently spelled Healy as well as their death records.

No wild goose chase. I enjoy looking for final resting places of those that have passed before. Calvary is especially nice to walk through with all the Celtic crosses.

Thank you so much for the pictures!! When I
enlarged the picture of the stone with the names
on it, I almost jumped straight out of my chair
with joy!! You have helped me and others solve
a family "mystery" as to when Emiley the first
wife of Issac S. Curl died!! The stone clearly
stated "The Wife of Issac"!! How wonderful!
Thank you so much for your help and promtness!

I spoke with them man in the office at the cemetery and he said they show Mary Kelly being in Section 6, Lot 79 (not 70), Space 12 but I was unable to locate the headstone. Not sure if due to age of the headstone it is one of the unreadable ones. Below is the link to the cemetery's website where you can site for all Kellys buried there.

Got Elizabeth Murff transferred to you. The other you asked about is not under my management. When asking for a transfer, hit the edit button on the memorial and then select Suggest a correction...That way the memorial number is sent with the request.
If there are other relatives that I have, let me know.

Have no problem, but I do need her memorial number. Not sure where to look.
I will also keep an eye out for the others I visit the local cemeteries.

Some quick research after receiving your message indicates that, yes, this Marie Reding Balls was married first to John McGhee. Ewing Foster McGhee's death certificate gives his father as John McGhee and his mother as Marie Reding - informant Mrs. H.O. Balls.
On the 1910 census Marie is shown as a widow and Foster McGhee was living with his Reding grandparents.
I have added links for Foster McGhee to his parents and a spouse link for Mrs. Balls to John Foster McGhee. Also added a bit in the bio of Mrs. Balls about her marriages to John McGhee and Herman Balls.
The Balls and McGhees are not my family so I don't know anything more about them than the quick research on Ancestry and Family Search gives me.
If you would like transfers please let me know.
