Sure!!!
Anyone can create a memorial. When I am at a cemetery I take lots of pictures...especially around the one I went looking for...I found my husbands ggrandmother totally by accident that way!!??
A direct decendent can request a transfer. The 'guidelines 'say direct..but I have transferred cousins, uncles, aunts ....
I would rather have the family manage...whatever the relationship.
When you 'manage 'a memorial you can add links between parents/children or spouses, add biographies, etc. Anyone can add photos but not the other information. They can request that you add or correct but that is up to you.
The best way to request transfers or corrections is that 'edit 'tab in thr upper corner of each memorial. That way a link is included to the memorial and to the requester so you don't have to go searching...just quicker.
Hope that helps and if I can help further just let me know.
I have been absolutely thrilled when I find a relative so I like helping others find theirs too.

Irene....I had entered a memorial as 'Walker' although I could not read the name the dates match Georgianna! I have added that to your memorial. If you look at it and agree, I will leave it. If you look and don't think it should be there I will GLADLY delete it! I love to see alll these connections made! 8-)
