RE: I'd like to get in touch with you
Sorry, I work with a non-profit and some days I have hundreds of e-mails so I check the most important ones first and can sometimes take 3-4 weeks to get through all of them.
I photographed the Olio Cemetery and posted info online from the headstone photos. I do not use a list or post pages without a photo. Any other info would have been given to me by others or if I do get time I try to check census records for family members. I have not checked many of them in Olio myself as I haven't had time. I get e-mails weekly asking me to add or update info.
Hope this helps.

Eureka, IL
Sorry, Karen, I live far away. In 2005 I was entering burials for people who died at times some of my distant relatives did, from the obituaries in the Peoria paper at the time. I would like to transfer some of these to someone who is involved with the family, if possible. I'm glad to correct and link anyone who can be done by computer, but I live just south of Chicago and am limited in travel now. Like you, I hope to connect people to their families.

Thank you for catching my typo. Are you related? I would be glad to transfer her as I entered her as a courtesy.
Let me know via Edit button if you do.

Charles Hallam, Olio Township Cemetery
Dear Karen, My name is Fite and when I say my name, people who knew a local Sheriff, whose name was Fyke, often ask if I am related. Are you?
I found a picture on line of Charles Hallam's stone in Olio Cemetery and added it to Charles Hallam's Find A Grave site. I don't know whether the stone still exists or not. Take a look and tell me what you think. Also, I set up a site for the other Charles L. Hallam, most likely a son of the first Charles Hallam, as he is known to have had a son named Charles, who was born in the late 1840's or early 1850's. Did you get pictures of this Charles L. Hallam's tombstone? If you did, could you add it to this new site? If there are dates on the stone which can be easily read, I will add them to his site. Let me know if you got dates off this stone. Thanks for all you are doing. Also, welcome to Find A Grave. You are going to be a GREAT ADDITION to the Find A Grave family. What you have already done and what you will do will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!! Sincerely, Baxter B. Fite III

RE: Cathrina Oltis Ruch
The information on her memorial is from the obituary which appeared in the Metamora Herald on 11 Jan 1894 (pg 4, col 5). I do not have it in front of me, but I recall the copy wasn't that great and I probably mistook the h for a b.
