I think I went to school with your Mother. I went to Montgomery Central and graduated in 1954. There was a Georgia Bulle in the grade lower than me and it seems like I either know Dorothy or have heard of her. I do appricate your help and I will let you know when I get the packet. Thank you so much.

RE: Rowland Cemetery
I checked my history pages for George Rowland his wife Lucy Stamper,(Who by the way were my great grand parents) I also checked his parents W.J. & Virginia TAYLOR Rowland (my great great grand parents) and I do not have a cemetery listed as to where they are buried. I am very familiar with the "TAYLOR" cemetery and that is all it was called all durning my childhood in that area. Some one has added the Rowland and I dont know why. That area where the cemetery is belonged to the TAYLOR family which was Virginia Taylor. I myself think the Cemetery name should be Taylor. My grandparents are also buried here. Back in 2008 & 2009 My sister and I mowed the cemetery and I kept flowers on the graves there. It was the first time flowers had been put on the graves in years. My health got where I could not continue mowing and I moved to an apartment and sold all my yard equiptment.
You did not hurt my feelings, I am glad when someone can give me correct info, But I don't have the Cemetery listed. I probably have asked you this before, but I am an old woman and I forgot, but are you related to the Taylors, Rowlands or Stampers? I am so interested in the 3 names and any information you might have I would love to have a hard copy of it. I CAN send you my address if you will send me your email address. Mine is

RE: Julia Ann Fain Groves
Yes, she was married to Phillip Ray Groves on June 24, 1944 Montgomery Co., TN. They had one son Phillip Edward Groves, born April 6, 1946: died June 13, 1990 in CA. He is also buried at Ryes Chapel. Julia was a twin to my husband's uncle. I have a photo of her. Very pretty. She died of cancer. I also have a daughter listed, Sandra Fay Groves, but no info on her.

RE: David Edgar Wall
My e-mail is I would only be distantly related. I have seen some of your family submissions. I am WorldConnectCorrections family tree, not sure about all the caps in the name. My mom was a Murphy from Dickson and Montgomery county, I know where Southside is, my Aunt Addie Murphy Sutton owned a home there that I used to love to visit. Thanks for your reply.

RE: Sawyer Cemetery
What names were listed? I'm wondering if I might know who they are. Thank you so much for all your help. It is a real mystery as to where this cemetery is located. There is development in the area now (houses) and I am praying that they didn't bulldoze that cemetery to make room for those homes. I don't think that is legal. There has to be some record of that cemetery somewhere. My great grandfather, Obe Sawyer, had a dairy farm on Granny White Pike. He died in 1950 and they sold the farm. A church was built on the property. The church is still there. Many of the Sawyers lived in that area on Granny White Pike where the Sawyer Cemetery was located. I appreciate all your help. If you have any questions or need additional information, let me know!

Balaam Bull
I am looking for information on where Balaam Bull and Sarah Holt are buried and if possible a picture of their gravestones. I am trying to join the Jamestowne Society and these are two of my ancestors. I would also like to know where the Bull/Wall cemetery is in case I can visit. Thank you. Gerri Graham

RE: Baggett's
How exciting!!!! I will try to explain my line starting from my grandma. Her family moved from Palmyra, TN sometime after the 1940 census. I wish I would have been older before she died so I could have asked her more questions. She didn't like talking about her life in Tennessee and that's about all I know.

Alla Mae Baggett (1931-1993) (at birth was Allie Mae)daughter of
Cordie Baggett (1902-1974)son of
Albert Baggett (1868-1947)son of
Andrew Baggett (1840-?) and Dicy Ann Baggett (1839-1911

So Andrew and Dicy were second cousins making my Baggett line a little crazy. They meet up at James Baggett

Andrew Bagett son of
James Baggett (1809-?)son of
Abraham Baggett(1783-1871) son of
James Baggett (1756-1833)

Dicy Ann Baggett (1839-1911) daughter of
Elias Baggett (1815-1902) son of
Micajah Baggett (1785-1860) son of
James Baggett (1756-1833)

I would love any information you have on any of the Baggetts in my line. I will check out the findagrave site you are putting together.

Thank you!!
