So, I did find this one but didn't get a picture to upload when I flew up there in January to RI to find this grave. This is the grave of a woman who died around 45 years old, whose daughter was taken from her at 8 months and given up for adoption. It was Marion's only child. She tried to reach her (according to DCF records at the Archives) knowing she was dying but she wouldn't come "in" to DCF to talk to them. She was an unwed teenage mother and her daughter is my adopted Aunt. She asked me to find her parents. I've only found one... Marion Hazel Andrews Garant. This means a great deal to our family. Thank you! Her daughter as born in 1941.

Thank you so very much! I flew up there to Rhode island in January during what can only be described as a blizzard to find these gravestones. I couldn't find most of them int he snow. Thank you so very much!

I will upload the picture of Nelson's headstone directly.
FYI, his wife was Mary Alice & I also took a photo of her headstone.
I hope they are OK, if not let me know. It was overcast yesterday.

I filled several photo requests in the East Wilton, Maine cemetery & must have taken the wrong Sam Butterfield, so you may need to request him again.

I may clean her stone later this year (I'm in the monument business and Sandy Point is my family's cemetery). If so, I'll post a new photo and alert you....Charlie

This cemetery no longer exists. Some of the headstones were removed and placed in the basement of the adjoining Lycoming Presbyterian Church.
Sorry I cannot help as I live about 4 blocks form the area.

I requested the photo of Brown Paine's (#27289062) headstone and am surprised to read on it something about Nathan Paine. Can you help me with this? At the bottom of the stone there is the following inscription: ? of NATHAN PAINE. It is difficult to read. The obvious would be "son of," but it doesn't quite look like "son" to me. My work showed that this Brown Paine was the son of James and Mary Sayles Paine with a brother named Nathan. Thank you for any help.
