Westlawn-Hillcrest Vets
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

If you have already received this message, please accept our apologies for the duplicate message.

RE: Anna Jenn and Arthur
they are part of my family - her dad and my gg grandfather were brothers -
I don't know much about her family - and didn't find anyone that really wanted to talk to me about them -
I was so glad you posted a picture of her - had no idea what she looked like etc

I am surprised you know the correct spelling should have been Jenn and not Yenn - some of her step brothers used the spelling of Yenn or Yann -but in France it was for sure Jenn

Do you know if any of your family have pictures of Simon Jenn/Yann - or Amos or Joseph Yenn - they all move from the Riverside area to Davenport--

There is another lady who posted parts of my family tree on Ancestry - maybe you saw it-- it came from my family tree

I too have been doing Genealogy work for about 15 yrs now.My Cousin in MN also takes pics for F-A-G .And just last night she asked me to look at a family she had taken pictures of this week.3 of them died all in the same year ,so she asked me to look them up ,because she wondered why.

So just in case you were wondering who Carrie was -like my Cousin did after taking the pics:)
She was one tough little girl ! Her Father Dr. Joseph Younger became a Mormon in the 1830's.He was arrested with Joseph Smith in Missouri.Carrie & her siblings were forced out into the dead of Winter,to walk in the snow, with the clothes on their back.More times than I can count ! She was also kicked out of Jackson Co. MO, Clay Co. MO.Calwell Co.MO & Nauvoo,Hancock Co.IL.Her Dad was always right in the thick of things. It just never seemed to end for those poor children. How she survived at all...Well it boggles my mind.I myself am not Mormon. But do to my Genealogy work, know more Mormon History than most Mormons do ...Her early life was quite a tale to be sure. And she deserves to be remembered...So thank you again for all that you do. Leni
