I think I've got it all transferred over. I deleted mine and asked for links to the other memorial. Thank you very much. Give it a week and see if it looks right to you, will you? Blessings,

Hi Ms. Baker,
You've sent an edit request to add her mother's Find A Grave Memorial to her Memorial. I need your help...I may be reading the edit wrong, but it looks like it's Nerva Hensley's memorial that is listed as the "Mother". Thanks for your assistance on this.

|Clydie||RE: Emily Hensley|
Hi thanks for replying back. Sorry it took me awhile to get this. I've been working on the family tree on my Smith side. Found a bunch of interesting information. My email is email@example.com. I think you and I are cousins. Email me when you get the time.

I've been looking for relatives that may have some old pictures of my kinfolk. I'm a great grand-daughter of Emily Hensley, she was the wife of Lewis Smith. There son Bair was my grandpa. I was wanting to know if you may have any old pictures of her and her family? I remember great Aunt Ruthie Hensley(wife of Henry Hensley) had some old tin types of her mother Emily, but that was a very long time ago. Hope to hear from you. Take care.

|Spaceman Spiff||Hensley Cemetery clarification|
Thank you for your contributions to FindAGrave!
I'm hoping you can help me with some clarification on the Hensley Cemeteries in Harlan County. I have some cousins whose obituaries state that they are buried in "Hensley Cemetery, Coldiron, KY." I did some research and seemed to find that the closest Hensley Cemetery to Coldiron was the Speed Hensley Cemetery, so I assumed this is where they were buried. However, I've just found another obit which states that this particular person is buried in "Otis Hensley Cemetery, Coldiron, KY." But from what's showing on FindAGrave, the Otis Hensley Cemetery is listed as being in Martins Fork, not Coldiron. And from looking at a map, Martins Fork is 15 miles away from Coldiron. So I'm confused.
Have you encountered this confusion before? Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this.

|Terri Koch||Minty Jones with a Hensley DNA|
My great grandmother was Minty Jones. She married John Ledford ( b. 1875 ). They had Pearly Mae, Martha, Shelby, Henry, Willie & Lydia. However, Minty died around 1910 of T.B. They lived on Lower Martins Fork. When Minty died, John left the children. His mother, Mary " Polly " Farley` Ledford, had been the head of the household, but was to old & ill to care for the children. After doing my DNA, it has came back with very high hits in the Hensley line & as we`ve been unable to make to other connection, it appears Minty may have been a Hensley, perhaps on her mothers side ?
We`ve as well been unable to find her grave.

I copy/paste the obituary directly from the newspaper for this memorial. The listing as Martha Hensley Cemetery is copied exactly as the obituary stated. If this memorial is in the wrong cemetery, please tell me what cemetery it needs to be moved.

Thank you for adding this obituary. I have different information in my ancestry tree and so I will need to correct my tree. But I was curious as to where the obituary came from. I have Elizabeth Nelson Bunn in my tree as the mother of Elizabeth Bunn who married a Rufus Backus and I see that her Elizabeth - Eliza has the last name of McGhee - would that be her married name?
