Stepehn Lee B 1715
I see that you manage the memorial of Stephen Lee born 1715, and died in 1791 Mason County, Kentucky.

Do you have any family information about his daughter by a previous marriage? Her name was Lucy Lee who married Moses Bridwell. She is mentioned in Stephen's will, Mason County, Will book A, Pages 8-10.

My husband is a descendant of all the above.

Re; Melody Lou (Arehart) Walters
Steve, I found your Find A Grave Profile page & added you on. Note: I just view your Ancestry tree & have one more update for you... Please check out Find A Grave memorial # 124030596 (Melody Lou Arehart) found her GCR Obituary & added her Beaverton Senior Class Photo out of the BHS Class Yearbook of 1963. Not sure which Walters she married though, eventually someone will notice.

Wrong Photo for Henry Halen HENSLEY?
I am concerned whether to add the photo of Henry Halen HENSLEY as submitted to the Find A Grave site. Do you know the source for the photo?

I have studied fashion and photography for years and know from experience that the clothing shown in the photo cannot possibly be from pre-1821. The clothing appears to be from the 1870-1880 period plus, print photography was invented about 1840, and print photos weren't available before Henry died in 1821.

Any help you can provide would help me determine whether to add Henry's photo into my HENSLEY line. Thanks for your consideration. Sherry Cross, Westward Ho, Kansas

Took care of the x-fer - And, yes, looks like that's about right on the cemetery addy. I went to the Unicoi property records, and the cemetery plot is not directly on Rice Creek Road. I need to run out to Hogskin in the next few weeks anyway, so I'll try to get a good visual for you. I worked Unicoi County quite heavily last summer, but have laid low all winter. I live in Washington County, so I try not to get out that way too often, as it's a 50 or 60 mile round trip. If you have any specific questions, I can try to help you before your trip. My local library has the Unicoi transcription book from the late 1980's. If you'd like, go ahead and communicate via my e-mail instead of messaging. Happy to work with you any way I can. Gordon

RE: Charity Brown Moore

Not a problem. I plan on going back as soon as I get a chance. I have several family members buried there and need to get pictures of their grave markers.
