RE: Josiah Mathias Christy
Thanks. No big deal, I just try to stick to the rules. So you and I are distant cousins. I'm descended from Archibald Christy's son Peter. It seems from your memorials down to Braddock, PA your fam grew up near Pittsburgh which would not be surprising as I did too. Unless you're another branch? Would love to know how we're related and share some Christy family information if you like. And yes! Please feel free to post the headstone pictures on my memorial for him. It would be plain without them!

I really couldn't say. Don't know if someone sent it or what.
Sorry, wish I could have been more help.

Ed Chilton
John Chilton of Currioman
Left an e-flower today for my 6-great grandfather. This man is son of the immigrant, John Chilton I, and the father of John Chilton III - who was "bested" in the sale of the inherited plantation by Lighthorse Harry Lee, father of General Robert E. Lee. The latter recalled this old grave marker to his aide-de-camp, Robert Hall Chilton, wrongly blamed for =The Lost Dispatch= at the Battle of Gettysburg. I descend through Wiliam Parish Chilton -see Wikipedia- who met both Gen. Lee and Col. R. H. Chilton in Richmond. Regards.

RE: Elizabeth Jane Eckenrode
Thank you for the offer to transfer, but I'm not related. This is someone who was buried from the Hubbard Funeral Home in Mount Clemens, Michigan. I don't have burial information for her parents.

Keep up the good work!

Hi Patty,
I actually got the cemetery listing including dates, etc. and that is what I made my spreadsheet from. I'll include your info in the 'bio' section.

RE: Christy Family
Do you mean Susannah McConnell who married Francis X. Christy?

If so, Francis is my 4-g uncle.

I'd very much like to talk with you as it seems we're cousins and share some DNA.

I'm descended through Francis' brother Peter.

Feel free to email me.

Well, I don't usually give up my lawmen, but I haven't done anything with him in quite a spell. And besides, you have such a pretty smile. Transfer made. You have a fun day now, hear?
