Sandrowicz Photos
Hello, I was at the Sandrowicz grave sites this morning at St. Hedwig. None of the graves match the date of birth or death that you have. I will hold onto the photos in case you want to build a Memorial for each. There are 3 in total. Helen I., Daniel and Stanley Sandrowicz. Please advise.

Removal of Memorial
Please take down my brother's memorial. I am very upset. I have contacted privately by email, but you refuse my request. He is my brother not yours. I don't know you from Adam, and you are causing me even more grief after the loss of a loved one. Please take it down. This is very upsetting to me and his immediate family members, of which, you are not.

There is no marker for her grave. I posted a photo of where the stone should be (see description of photo).

Sandrowicz Request Request Saint Hedwig Cemetery, Dearborn Hts. MI
I would love to fulfill your request, but It might be a little bit hard without a first name. Do you happen to know this or any other family members buried nearby that you might also like a photo of. The cemetery is very large and the office might have trouble giving me the plot info. for someone with only a last name.

All 3 requests I just filled were in Section 114. Please add the plot info correctly to your other requests or they'll just sit there.

I manually entered your plots into my spreadsheet that is parsed from the request list for my trip today.

Lucia is not in Section 55. Having spouses in different section is quite common, especially in the section 50/55/57/59 area.

Section 2 is several different religious orders burials. I did not see plot numbers in the 100s, an you have listed Sec 2, plot 147.

If they were priest/nun please call the office and ask for a plot map, they will mail you one that you can then e-mail to me.

I just obtained a section 114 map this evening from someone else who called and will fill that request next trip.

There are no other requests in section 2 and I've never filled a request in that section, so if you don't obtain a map the request will most likely just sit there.

RE: Calvary
When you click on the 18 request link on your page there is no plot information showing on the list of requests.

For the FAQ:
When you request a photo, an information box will open up allowing you to add any details you think will assist the photo volunteer in locating the memorial. Additionally, if you created the memorial, you can add the plot information to the memorial as well.

If you could please put the in either or both that would be most helpful, as we're trying to manage nearly 600 requests.

RE: Calvary

If you could please put the plot info in the plot location or a note with the request. It currently is listed as an inscription instead.

Also, for your one request, there is no section 144.

Not trying to nag, just FYI that we've cleared over 200 requests this spring and now have 626 requests—fewer than there were in June, 2012. We'd be happy to clear your request(s) but some/all do not have plot information. Please call (216) 641-7575 and obtain plot information. We most likely already have a plot map but will let you know once we have plot info if we also need a map. Thanks!

Can you get the grave location from the cemetery

Added by dorisG on May 04, 2013 9:36 AM

You've put in a request at Calvary in Cleveland. I'm starting to plan a trip there in the spring or late winter. With 400,000 burials and 300 acres, if you can obtain plot location AND a plot map from the office (unless it's posted here: I can try to take the photo when I go in the spring. Phone number is: (216) 641-7575

You can try to tell them you'll be visiting when they're closed, etc. I know one person who they mailed a plot map to. If you get one let me know and I'll give you my e-mail address. Without this info you're sadly unlikely to get it filled. If I can get info for many it will be worth the 25 minute trip to try to cut down the 759 requests.
