Reuben Teague
Please excuse the long delay in answering your e-mail, I've had some medical issues this year and have not kept up very well.

I am not a direct descendant of Rube Teague. He was married to my dad's sister Bertha Mae Martin. I do believe they still have one child living but I'm not sure where. I may be able to find out through other cousins. I will see what I can do and let you know one way or the other.

I don't think I have a picture but will check that out as well. Rube and Aunt Bertha were divorced and I do not ever remember seeing him when we would visit her home in New Mexico.

Pray for the families of out fallen officers here in Dallas, for our city and for our country.

I'll be in touch.

Carolyn Lamberth Johnson
Memorial 153040371
Most of your information on Robert Lamberth 153040371 is unproven, so far as I know. The man did not marry Amelia, but married Letha Cropper. It is not known (unless you have information that I have not found in the time I've been researching him) when or where he died. If you have proven information, please share it with me at email below. He was my great grandfather.

Bill Mitchell
Sarah Keen Doss
Sarah was the daughter of Eli and Nancy Keen. On your Find A Grave notice for Sarah Keen Doss you said she was living with Jospeh Keen in the 1880 Census in Texas. This Joseph Keen was a husband of my gggramdmother Anna Barron. He left her for another woman around 1856, wound up in prison for larceny in 1860 then moved in with his brother Robert R. Keen in Texas in the 1870 census. Robert then died and Joseph moved in with Sarah and her husband in the 1880 census. He eventually moved back to Greenville, Tennessee and finished out his life with his son John B. Keen and is buried in the Cemetery in Greenville, Tennessee behind the old police station.

RE: Virgil Denton Doss Jr.
I don't believe we are related. I have been taking pictures of headstones to help others find their relatives for genealogy or for family memorials. I have transferred the memorial to you.

71706801 - Henry Martin
In reference to your photo request for Henry Martin (no dates on the memorial) buried at Crestwood Cemetery, Etowah Co., AL - - there are two Henry Martin's buried there: Henry Albert Martin, age 71, died 1961 and Henry Jesse Martin, age 91, died 1991. Which Henry do you want grave photos of? I have obituaries for both men if that would be helpful to you. You may wish to email me. Kind regards, Nancy

Thank you! I would love to see a copy of the Bible records and the pension record. Do you have a family tree on Ancestry by chance?

My mom is the Southerner in the family. She was born and raised near Selma, Ala.

Good morning. My name is Sharon Judy, and I am a descendant of Meredith Busby, through his daughter Nancy Busby. Nancy married Henry Sapp Martin. I am interested in finding out who Meredith's father is. I have shown him for years a Needham Busby, born 1752 and died 1840.

Mike Adams
RE: Silas Adams
I have not the DNA testing yet. Just haven't took time. It would be interesting.

About the Silas Adams. He was not married and the head of a household in 1830. He was still living in his father's, Charles, household during that census in Buncombe County, NC. You will see there is a male in the household the age of Silas in those records. Also Lucinda's family, the Brock's, were also living there at that time too. They married shortly after 1830 and David Thomas was born in 1833.

Good Morning,
I am so sorry but I did not know Mrs. Mead or any of her relatives. I was just browsing and happened upon her very sweet story. The picture of her holding the baby is just beautiful.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Nancy
