Donna Adams photo request
Hi Kimberly, I just added a photo to Donna's memorial. However, there is no headstone so I marked the location of her burial with flowers and E. Everett Adams headstone is in the background. She is buried right next to him. (I did add this information to the photo caption.) Close to the burial site are headstones for Gordon Kranz, Ted Hollis, and Clifford Stout.

RE: Nathaniel Loomis Family
Nathaniel and Eliza were side by side in Section 2 and the rest where in Section 4. Not very close to each other.

A friend was going North and agreed to look and take pictures if they were there. They were and as soon as I download them off her camera I'll send them to you!

The little stones behind have names facing away from the main family stone, Jim's was the one showing on the right side. I didn't check outthe others, I will see if I can find them for you...

The little markers have names on the side facing away from the main Crow Marker, but no last names, just first names! I thought I had put his small marker with his first name on the page! It is the one you see to the right of the family head stone and no, there is nothing on the back of either the Family headstone or the smaller individual markers. I'll double check and make sure I included the smaller marker with his first name.

I see where someone wrote that a Nellie Crow was buried in Guide Rock. This may be so. However, there is a Nellie TOPHAM CROW in my TOPHAM lineage who is buried in Red Cloud along with her husband, Joe CROW, son, Rollie, and many other family members. I have worked on TOPHAM lineage for many years. Please let me know if you are interested in this. I think I recently put Nellie and Joe's wedding write-up on ANCESTRY.
I hope to fulfill some ho requests, but want to get the APP for my phone first, as I haven't been successful with flilling photo requests earlier and haven't taken the time to figure out what I am owing wrong.

Jemima Hesselgesser Buckels
Hi Kimberly,

I saw your request on the Lawrenceville Cemetery website for "Jemima Hesselgesser Foltz Buckels" and thought I would let you know it is posted there under #34194813 - Jemima Hesselgesser Buckels.

The stone has 3 names on it- David B. Buckels with his first wife Nancy Lorton Buckels and his second wife Jemima Hesselgesser Buckels. (It seems that some in that family line would spell their last name as both Buckels and Buckles).

Hope this helps!

Nellie Crow
Hello again. I just got home from the library here and discovered yes indeed Nellie is buried here in Guide Rock. I have posted the Obit on the site so when the gal with that site sees it she will get it posted.

Guide Rock Crows
Hello, I maintain the GR records, but have not gotten to the old section yet of sections 1, 2 and 3.
I started just recently in number 2 but the cold weather has blasted us.
At this point I do not seem to have any info on the crows you referred to. However, there is the one William Crow, 79y 8 m 2d.
Birth: Nov. 6, 1820
Death: Jul. 8, 1900
do you know how he would be related? the three are all listed in the same lot.
Ok thanks for your help. If I find anything more I will let you know.

Guide Rock Cemetery
There is a book in a mailbox at the cemetery and there is a map of the cemetery posted, which makes it fairly easy to locate burial locations even if there is no stone. I do not know who put the book together, sorry.
I have contacted public libraries and sometimes they are of some help with cemetery books.

Crows at Guide Rock
Just returned from Guide Rock.
Nellie and Rolla Crow are listed in the directory without information/dates. They are buried together in Section 1, Row 9. The only Crow in that row with a stone is William Crow.

RE: Pics for Willis & Eunice Bertz
You're so very welcome. I know how much it means to us to be able to see at least our ancestors' gravesites especially when large distances are involved. If there are other family members in the area that you need photos, let me know.

RE: Ancel Raymer
Your welcome Kimberly.

Is it a first wife of Ancel? I see she died very young.

I always look around for someone who may have the same last name.

Best regards,
