RE: Pleasant View cemetery

In findagrave I see only about 15 DeWitts buried in Hardin County; not that many. I did searches in the the three nearby counties: Meade, Jefferson, and Bullitt. There were similar small numbers. It may be that there were not that many DeWitts in the area or if they are in a single cemetery, that cemetery has not been put into FindaGrave.

By the way, I am not aware of a town of Westport, did you mean West Point?

I have visited that cemetery twice to photograph all of its headstones. I did not photograph Richard DeWitt's, so I have to make the assumption that his headstone is not there.

I have missed headstones before, so it is possible I just missed it.

RE: Pleasant View cemetery

I do not remember if I answered your request about Pleasant View Cemetery, so if I did I am sorry for the double send.

Most Fort Knox cemeteries, including Pleasant View, are only accessible on Memorial Day. Fortunately, it is relatively easy to get to. Just take Wilson Road north out of the contonement area, go about about a mile or two and you will come to the cemetery. It is actually two cemeteries, one on each side of the road. Who are you looking for?

RE: Leeds Cemetery
Stephen, if you give me the name of the person, I will try to see if I can find any more info on the person. Sometimes there is an address or some other item that will lead to more.
