George Mayes
Dear Christina Mullally,

I have for decades been trying to find one GEORGE MAYES - a man that in 1838 married my cousin JESSIE PEARSON in Yuma, AZ. Jessie was from Bremerton, Washington, and it is believed that they returned there or at least to the state of Washington in the early 1940s. Theirs was a short marriage.

In the 1940 Census I found George and Jessie listed as living with a family in San Bernardino, CA - an it clearly states that George was born in Texas.
The only George Mayes that fits the description would be the one born in Graham, Young Co, TX in 1913 or 1914, son of Theodore Jason Mayes and Annie Park Kindley.

Am I on the right track, and if so, what can you tell me about "uncle George".

All the best and greetings from Sweden

Kindley Book
Do you know of any copies of The William Kindley Genealogy that are available? I have the supplement and would like to obtain a copy of the original book.

RE: Oakley geneology
all of it would be interesting to me. I am trying to link together as many of the Oakley's from different branches as much as I can. So how I can go about getting a copy of this book or any of its contents would be appreciated!
