RE: Joseph Brannan roots
Hi Enoch. Unfortunately, I've been unable trace the Brannans beyond Pennsylvania. My grandmother (a Brannan) always said they were from Scotland. That's as much as I know about where they might have emigrated from. John.

In adding the burial lists for Tippecanoe County to Findagrave, we used the old readings. It is very common to see dates wrong. Photos help.

I saw the same thing you did on his date. But feel it needs to be cleaned to verify it. As it is 29 degrees today....ugh. It will have to wait for a warm up. lol. For now, let me make notes about the dates on his burial page.

I have other folks requesting information too at Peirce. There are many buried tombstones in that cemetery that will revile more family members someday.

But I can get that date right for you. Thank you for sharing the details with me. I work in the research library too and it makes all this worth while when we can help everyone get the dates and records straight.

Vern was very helpful with my list of relatives with obit requests. We also donated a 1915 yearbook (Alexandria High School) that belonged to Minnie Stenberg (My Grandmother).

We did ask about you when we were there. They said you are getting ready for your annual trip to Sweden. That works so well for you to spend time with you family there.

We are still working on the mystery of August Stenbergs brother. They were in owned the J.A. McKay Brickyard on McKay Road in Alexandria around 1895. The museum did have a photo of the brickyard but not much on the owners.

We were in Alexandria Last week and had a nice visit to the Douglas County Museum on Monday. We donated a family picture of the Stenberg family in Alexandria.

Thank you for managing Lilly's Find a Grave website.

Hello Enoch,
I recently added 3500 memorials at Acacia Park using basic information from the cemetery records. I haven't had time to update them all with research. Thanks very much for your help with Cleo.

RE: Mary DeZurik in Sartell
I have been doing genealogy for over 20 years. Raymond DeZurik's mother Julie Rudie DeZurik was my great grandmother's sister. My great grandmother was Anna Rudie Heisick. You will see that I have many of Ted's and my ancestors linked together on FindAGrave.

Enoch, thank you so very much for your help in putting the 2 grave sites together for Peder. Should the smaller site be deleted? His sister, Marit Barsness, was my grandmother. I appreciate your time and help in providing pictures along with the information regarding Peder to our family. Pat

I have deleted mine since you now have him in his final resting place. The obit had no cemetery info at that time. Thanks. ~Terry

RE: Peder Olson, Nelson, Minnesota cemetery.
You are wonderful!! I have been looking for his brother too but didn't realize he was in that same cemetery. I have really been having problems finding the Norwegian sides of my family which I might add is 3/4 of my relatives. My head hurts from hitting it over and over again on that brick wall. Sometimes I think they are deliberately hiding from me. I just never know what name they are going to use!

You solved my problem...not me! I am so grateful for your help. Have a great night. Pat

RE: Peder Olson, Nelson, Minnesota cemetery.
Thank you so much for taking the time to look for Peder Olsen's grave for me. I appreciate your efforts and help. Aside from you putting in so much time and effort trying to find his location, can you suggest any other method? I think at one time there was something stating his nephew put the 'marker' on his site. But I don't know what type of materials were used ~ as you wrote, it might be wood. At any event, if his grave is found, I would like to put some type of marker on it so he doesn't 'get lost again'. Thanks again for your help! Pat

RE: Louis H. Larson, Nelson Cemetery
Thank you for searching for this stone. I am looking for the brother of August Stenberg. I thought that Louis would be a possibility. Thanks to your detailed research I eliminate Louis from the list.

Thanks again, Tom Erbes
