|Tracy C.||RE: Price Family (Adam)|
This is actually the only one I have added names from a list. I saw a list that was made from visits in 2000 and 2004. The list also states that it is probable that the 1/2 to 1 acre lot is full of burials. However, it was completely overgrown at the time. If I get out there, I will let you know, and vice versa. If you want to meet there, let me know. Sounds like it may be a 2 person or more job.

Thanks for all the great work. Your pictures are great and I don't know how you find all these family cemeteries out in the middle of nowhere.
Keep up the good work - love it!

I believe they have already corrected the name. Boy that was fast.
Your cemetery is a different cemetery than what we have. Ours is located in the Cloyd's Mt area in Highland (Highland Road). Your cemetery is also a African American cemetery from obits I found. I'll be sending info to help upgrade your memorials,

Thank you so much for posting another photo to read. The first photo is so white, with the sunshine on it it was difficult for me to read, especialy at the bottom of the marker. Have a safe & enjoyable week. Take care & God bless.

We live in New England, and were visiting our sister who lives in VA and works at Catawba hospital. She knew I was a Find A Grave volunteer and mentioned three old cemeteries , on Newport and Blacksburg roads...she noticed them when driving home from work and wanted me to take a look at them. We also photographed over 100 graves in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin. Then traveled to Alum Creek , WV to visit three Midkiff Family Cemeteries in that area. You did a good job of finding the graves in the Spessard Cemetery...We get to VA about once a year, but usually in early fall. I think your suggestion of a winter visit is an excellent idea. Continue the good work on small, undiscovered ( often family) cemeteries in that area.
I will continue to follow your work.
