RE: Kimball Family Links
The other memorials were deleted because this is a GRAVE site, not a genealogy site. They are quite clear about that:

"Location of body unknown should be used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition should be determined and updated within 30 days."

Adding persons just to make connections is NOT the purpose of this site. The purpose is to records BURIALS.

I am all too aware of how tempting it is to add ancestors and links.

But, PLEASE refrain from doing so. Please follow the rules. There are oodles of sites where you can post genealogies, This is not one of them.

RE: Ursula (Scott) Kimball
Thanks Ralph. Find A Grave and both had problems. That was frustrating. Could not do anything on either of them. You mean I have to find something else to do? Ha!

Thanks again.

RE: Kimball Family Links
Hi Ralph

Thanks for letting me know and for fixing this mess. I am sure that Ursula parents were also deleted at the same time and have reentered them. Henry Scott # 131490629 and Martha Whatlock Scott # 131490721. I would appreciate it if you would link Ursula to them. The reason I believe this is I am almost certain the family was linked togeather is because I descent through both Ursula and her brother Roger who stayed in England. My GGrandmother's family was from this part of the world. Anyway, Henry and Martha are back and both linked to their parents and Roger linked them.

Thanks Again. Really appreciate this.

RE: Richard Kimball
I think I had Henry linked to the old memorials but I have now linked him to the ones you created. Richard is also my direct ancestor, I descend through Henry.

Hi Ralph,
I have linked Abigail Kimball to her parents as you requested. My wife is her 7th great grand niece. If you are a direct descendant I would be happy to transfer her memorial to you.

RE: Adeline (Kimball) Surber
Hi, Ralph, I wasn't worried about you getting back---these kinds of things keep, as they have for decades or centuries! As the Kimballs are in-laws to me, I won't be doing anymore follow-up. I do thank you for helping me make the connection to my cousin,Ann Bolling Chambliss, who married Wilmer C. Surber, Jr. And if you find Adeline (Kimball) Surber's parents to your satisfaction, I'll be happy to add the links on Find A Grave. Yes, the Bulletin Boards are a great place to start! Best, Trink J.

RE: Adeline Harriet (Kimball) Surber
I have found that she was married to Wilmer C. Surber in Chicago 23 Apr 1918, but no parents are listed for either. Where did you find her parents as "Mrs. Agnes (Lacour) Kimball and Mr. Oscar Kimball?" An "Adeline F. Surber" d. in Georgia on the same date, but ours is buried in Virginia, so maybe that's not the same person. Their son, WCS, Jr., is Find A Grave Memorial# 1234219. It is he who's married into the Concord Church crowd, where Adeline is buried. Did you see that at Concord, there is also a marker for a Harriet Surber, no dates? Do you know who she is? Thanks!

RE: Adeline Harriet (Kimball) Surber
Thanks, Ralph! And I spy the possible reason you weren't able to find her before. I have her married surname spelled as it is on the grave marker, "Surber." However, you'll spelled it without the "r" as "Suber." Is the grave inscription spelling incorrect? Thanks to you also!

Phil Ray
Ebenezer Judson Folsom's mother
You asked that I link, Ebenezer Judson Folsom,to his mother Laura Virginia Newsome Folsom.

Laura Newsome and Pennywell Folsom did not marry until Jun 11, 1882 in Lowndes County.

Judson was born in 1876, according to his headstone.

In my research, I have found his mother to be Elizabeth Ann Smith McIntyre Folsom, who married Pennywell Folsom on Mar 30,1871 in Lowndes County, GA.

According to the 1880 Lowndes County, GA census, where he is also listed as a child of the couple.

Elizabeth Ann Smith was first married to Archibald McIntyre on Jul 1857 in Thomas County, GA.

If your records which are different than what I have say different, I will gladly link him to her.

That could be the town clerk messing things up. You see the craziest spellings in those records.

There must be some mistake, #76615385 is Josephine McLean Thomas in Georgia. Can you look up Melvin Kimball again? Or at least tell me what cemetery they are in?

Dole Hamilton Cook # 80159095
I made the connection you requested. However, I cannot enlarge the cemetery photo, it is not mine and I did not place it on the memorial.

If you were not aware, you can double click on the photo and it will come up in a different window and when you click on it again, it will enlarge it. The Monument says, The family of Doyle and Eunice Cook and has 4 children named on it. Doyle, Jr., Sheila, Pam and Rex.

Hope this helps you,

Carrie Talulah Sheffield
I have posted a picture and I did not realize there were two listings for Carrie. I have sent a request to change the name on the other one as the person did a poor job of entering the memorial. I have also posted a picture for a Kimbrel lady at Shepard.

Ralph, do you remember what road the Giley Sheffield Cemetery is located? Who ever put the cemetery in findagrave did not add location and I was going to add location to the picture of the cemetery. Thanks.
