RE: Brown site
Thank you so much. It's a very interesting monument. I was amazed about how quickly you posted the photo. It was almost before I was finished creating the memorial! I really appreciate your help with that. Welcome to the findagrave family!

No, wasn't me. I was there sometime after 3pm, I think it was. I was the only person out there at the time. I saw you got the next one that Madeline asked for. We figure she can keep you busy out there! She does appreciate it. Believe it or not, there are a lot of stones there that are still not on the site.

If you can't locate one, go to the Library and look up the orange cemetery book that shows Shiloh. You can follow the book and find the stones, since they printed it as they walked it.

That's ok, Wayne. I figured you might be new at this. If you want to be informed as to when requests are made in your area, just check out the Actions box on the left hand side of the site page and you can sign up for certain areas. Then whenever a photo is requested in your area, you'll be sent an email. When you get the email, you can follow the link to the cemetery. Look at "Requests" (top right hand side) and after clicking on it, you can "Claim" the photo. You get 2 wks to do the picture. After claiming it, nobody else can claim it. I usually don't go to Shiloh, as I live almost next to Sunset Hill in Rockport. That's the cemetery I'm doing. But, I know Madelyn and usually nobody claims Shiloh,so I took it. It's good to see that you might be able to do them out there now. Also, if you want to take photos out there that aren't requested, always check by surname first to make sure that the picture isn't already on the site. There'll be a small "tombstone" listed beside the name.
Glad to have you on board! I'll go on and remove my picture so that you can have your first one photo.

Wayne,
I accept the Request from Madelyn and took the photo today. If you want to do the photos, you need to check first to see if anyone else has accepted the request. Sometimes people travel a distance to do the photos and it's not good to get home and find that someone else has done the photo who didn't accept the request.
I'm not upset with you and if you want to keep your photo on the site, let me know and I'll take mine off.
Just didn't know if you knew how it worked or not.
Thanks.
