RE: working on project cems
Currently finishing pics at Ebenezer in Hatfield. And working on Maple Grove Boonville pic requests. There's 2 of us working on all of Spencer County. You can save yourself time by not searching for cem's since we have all the info. We already pd for copies of records from libraries & I can send to you thru email. But 1st you & I need to coordinate where we go. I can let you know which ones are still needed. My part of our project is to finish cem's in LUCE TWP. Whatever pics I take at these cem's are for findagrave if need & for the other member to put on Spencer County web site (genwebspencercountycemeteriesproject). Get in touch with me thru email (now have address showing on my acct) & I can tell you more details. I need to sign off now & will ck back 5/10/14. Thanks! PS: I need camera tips for my new camera that I'm still learning abt. The pics have a slight "blur" after posted but my old cam. didn't do that. Thanks again! Donna

RE: Richard Oskins
Thanks so much Wayne. You have definitely gone above and beyond the call of duty on this. When looking for graves, unfortunately, there are always some that will never be found. Thanks again.

RE: working on project cems
I was thinking the same thing. Was wanting to ask you to help me since you take good pics and they are of the whole stone like I do. Seems there are only a few of us doing that. We can communicate abt this thru my email posted on my acct. So let me know when you are able to get out to a cem. I've not been back out since we met. Waiting for above freezing temps so I can brush off grass clippings that are frozen to some stones. Thanks!

Hi - We met at the cemetery today. Since i knew you took a pic, i was going to unclaim the pic request. But you posted the pic before i could change it. For future reference - please note that we aren't supposed to post pictures for pic requests that someone else has claimed. Also note that Lewis has 2 mem pgs and one pg already had a pic. Tho yours is a better one - you may want to post it to the 2007 mem pg also. I'm hoping that eventually I'll be able to send edit requests for all the mem pgs that a stone was not found - for cem's i've taken pics of every stone. This will prevent a lot of time and expense on gas. dg

RE: Pareen Bennett
Thanks for letting me know about Pareen. I was given information that she was buried there but I guess not. She spent most of her life in Luce Township, Indiana.

I thought I would leave you the good news, I have found out, through a ton of coffe and late night research, that I am in fact related to this Samuel Pate, he had a brother Jeremiah, who I am directly descended from! I cannot thank you enough for these pictures, we have been looking for this all our lives and now we have answers!! Thank you!!

RE: Pate Cemetery
Thank you! I am trying to find out if any more of my people may be buried in either cemetery. It is proving difficult, but I at least have a little info to go on! Thanks for posting all those pictures!

I read your bio and noticed it said you went to the Pate cemetary. I was wondering where that is? I have found 2 of my family's headstones on this site and am trying to go back even further. My grandfather was a pate and from kentucky, and migrated to Tennessee. The last Pate I found was Henry A Pate, born 1847 died 1925 in Breckinridge Co. Kentucky. Anything you know about any Pate would be so very helpful! Thanks so much!
