Hi Lynnie, I was just thinking of you. Re: grave requests in Butte, MT for goodness sake. Small wold. I lived there for years. I seem to remember the name - Judy Garland's actual name - go figure. I will look and see what I can find. I haven't been moving much lately (sore elbow). Not worth mentioning, but driving painful. I will get back to you and if I forget you, please remind me! Lynn

I wanted to thank you for attempting to locate Florence DeMark's headstone. I believe almost if not all of her family is buried in Racine, as they weren't in Eagle for very long. I wonder if they had her reinterred in Racine at some point. I'm going to look into it when I go to the cemeteries the rest of her family was buried in in Racine; perhaps I'll get lucky.
Again, thanks so much for your help!

RE: Anton Schoenberger's memorial #118379686.
I don't think this is the correct Block for Anton. I looked at the Catholic Cemeteries Site and they have two Anton Schoenbergers, but I believe those to be one and the same.
One is buried in Block 4 and one in Block 1. I was in Blk 2 and photographed a tombstone for an Anton Schoenberger Sr. I believe he was next to Katie Frosch (140624312). I photographed her too thinking they may be related.
I was in other areas at Holy Cross, but I am sure it was in Blk 2 that I photographed Anton and Katie. Katie is in Blk 2 on the Catholic Cemeteries site, so I think I am correct on this. Someday I will learn to take better notes!
I posted Katie Frosch and Anton Schoenbergers's photos on their memorials. Take a look at them. You can see that the tombstones are identical. Somehow they are connected.
You may want to contact Holy Cross to figure this out. His coordinates will have to be verified and listed correctly, and Holy Cross will need to update and correct their records.
Let me know what you decide. If I can be of further help or if you have questions, feel free to email me.

If you ever do make the trip, maybe I could help you and fulfil any photo requests for that cemetery at the same time. The black flies have just come out and might be unpleasant for the next 3-4 weeks.

I've just started doing visits and photographing and I hope to do more cemeteries. However, I want to finish Rapid River before going on. I'm about 1/3 done. Where did you live in this area?

Thanks for the pictures of this grave markers for Ida and Roland. I appreciate that you took three separate pictures, one of the complete marker and a separate one for the date information on each individual. It makes reading the information so much easier.

Just went to the Allouez Catholic Cemetery and Chapel Mausoleum site for Find A Grave, entered "Arthur Schumacher", and all 4 photos I listed appear to be right-side-up. Can you be specific as to which one appears sideways? This has happened once before with Find A Grave. You might have to contact them if I can't rectify the issue.

Just a head's up...listed 4 photos for Arthur. If you Click on "Click here to view all images" you'll see them all as well as Comments if you Click on the individual photos. Did not see the name Effie Lucille (Scholtz) on any of the bevels. Am going to add photos for the other dozen names to Find A Grave.

|Bulldog||RE: Sorenson at Woodlawn|
Apparently, from what others have written, the office is ONLY giving the Park (section) and grave number. That doesn't help us volunteers who walk up and down rows of the section. There is No Way of knowing what grave number is assigned to whom, or where that number is located. We really need the names of those buried on each side of the individual. Mary has put an "X" on a paper map for me in the past and yet I (nor did anyone else) locate a marker for the individual. Point being...was there ever a marker placed? If so, has the marker deteriorated to the point it is no longer legible? Yes, I am still going to about 20 cemeteries. And, yes, snow is definitely and issue. But a soft-bristle brush helps reveal names...if one knows exactly where to search. You can certainly send me the map for the Sorensen individual, and I will do my best to locate a marker. Bulldog
