Gertha Mack.
Hi Sherri,

I spent the last week of my vacation in Marked Tree Cemetery in Arkansas taking pictures. My grandparents, great-grand parents and many other family members are buried there. Since there were 79 requests pending and so few of the graves had been photographed, I just began taking pictures of every grave I could. I think I've photographed over half of the cemetery.

I took the pictures of Gertha and William's grave on my last day there. It's a section of the cemetery with few trees, and it was 95 degrees and sunny with no breeze. I was exhausted! When I came to their grave it was covered by one giant rosebush! Beautiful, but a little difficult just to move the branches aside and photograph. There was no way to see a last name at all. I was happy I could get the first names and dates and figured a good search would reveal who they were. And I moved on.

I realized today that in my haste (and near heatstroke) I neglected to take a picture of the entire monument. And then to realize I just fulfilled a request - I'm so disappointed I didn't get you the full monument!

Please be sure to request the photo once again. Their gravesite is in the far right section, to the right of the entrance closest to the expressway, about halfway back. Perhaps someone will get the full gravesite. If not I will be sure to get a photo next summer when we visit!!

Hubbard transfers
Hi again Sherri,

Transfers complete! I am always glad to reunite the memorials I add to family members. I consider myself merely the photographer. If you find any of the other Hubbards I added also members of Frederick's family just let me know.

RE: Hubbard headstone photos
Sherri, you are very welcome.
I did just also add his parents and I believe a brother Clarence.
I have gone through my transcription for Lyndon Cemetery and added all Hubbards that were not already there.
If any are in your tree I would be more than happy to transfer them.

RE: Glasscock

Bill was a family friend going back to the early 1900s. Every time I visited Wesley I tried to stop by and see him. He was a fine man and I'm glad I got to know him.
