Jimmie Read
I recently photographed all headstones in Liberty Cemetery, Caruth, MO. I did not find Jimmie Read, however I did find Lou, Melvin and Julia Read. Sadly, there were about 40 headstones that were so badly eroded, I can't make out the inscriptions. I will post the remaining photos over the next few weeks, email cougar79@comcast.net if any questions. Scott

Thank you so much for photographing the gravestone of my grandfather. I tried to do that over a year ago and was unable to find the spot. I had seen his stone before and knew it was there, but just was not able to find him then.

Thanks again for your work and time.

Arthur, thank you so much for the wonderful photos on the graves of Graydon and Mary. I was surprised since there is snow covering the graves in MN. Thanks for helping to honor those memorials on Find A Grave. Cathy W.

ELDER STONES.....
I really appreciate your concern and kind offer. But I hesitate to brush the markers, I sometimes feel that they are best left to weather as best as they can on their own. I thought perhaps you were able to read it in person. But the picture is fine as is, and I a just exceptionally glad to have the picture. Thanks Again for your kind offer.
Do you guys live near Campbell? I am trying to find a Obituary for Dorthy Snider who died in Campbell in October 2012...The obit was not in the Malden DD newspaper that I can find on line, so thought perhaps someone in Campbell may get the Newspaper for Campbell, but there may not have been an obit she was 99 years old, buried at Woodlawn in Campbell.

JEANETTE PUCKETT AT ELDER CEMETERY
Mercy Thank You So Very Much for posting the Puckett grave marker photos at Elder Cemetery. Since they were such old markers, was not sure they will still be there. Hope it wasn't too cold when you went to photograph them. Were you able to read the notes on the markers? Do you happen to remember what the wording was? Actually the pictures of the markers are wonderful. Has been many years since I was able to personally visit the Cemetery, looks like it is being maintained well. Your pictures are so much help to those of us not in the area now, and add leaves, twigs and branches to our Family Trees.

Arthur, that works for me. Lurline spent a lot of time with my mothers family, too; I am sure Mark remembers Maxine Holmes. Josephine Miller Byrd was her mother and they lived in Kennett.

The memorial number you gave was for Sam Mauldin and wife Ida. Is this the correct one?

Thomas A. 'Tommie' Woodard Grave
Tommie's grave is at Kelley Cemetery, in Van Buren, Carter County, MO. It's a small old cemetery, and located on State Hwy Z.
To get to State Hwy Z, go into Ozark National Scenic Riverway; Kelley Cemetery, is 10 miles out State Hwy Z.
If I can be of any more help, let me know. Linda

RE: tansfers
I've been having problems with transfers so I have stopped doing them. The most recent was with false information being added on a memorial that I created but that had been transferred away from me. It even got to the point that I was contacted by an attorney over info I didn't even put there and couldn't removed because of the transfer. The memorial ended up having to be completely removed by the admins. I will be more than happy to add any info you might have, though.
