RE: Poasts
Hi, Jennie!!!I would greatly appreciate if you could check at the office! there were already three Poasts on findagrave in that cemetery, which led me to add my two - there is a picture of Edward's grave site, so there is, at least him, buried there... it looks like an unmarked grave, and I would suspect that mine would be unmarked as well...I don't know where the on-line list came from, but they are usually NOT from the cemetery office, and unmarked graves are usually NOT on these lists - volunteers make the lists from the visible sad that those lives are not marked in any way... :( k

Sr. Mary Dorothea Foley 126173065

I was unable to remove the duplicate flower, probably because I didn't post it there myself.

(The flower is beautiful, by the way!)

Since you posted the flower, probably only you can remove it.

Here's how it's done;

On the memorial, click on the flower.
That takes you to the next screen.
Click on the flower again, and you'll get the Remove button.
Click on the Remove button.
You'll be asked whether you really want to remove the flower.
Click on the acceptance button, and the flower will be removed.

I hope this helps.

If not, we'll have to figure out something else.

Again, thank you for the gorgeous flower on Sr. Mary Dorothea's memorial.

RE: Additional Request
I can't remember how I request a photo. What's the process? Also--I have used but not been able to locate Emma yet. I also wonder where her father, Peter Doyle might be buried? More to discover! Thanks for your assistance!

Emma Doyle (Griffen) Williams
Thank you for the photo showing the marker for Wesley Marshall Williams and his wife, Emma. If you or anyone has any additional information about Emma or her parents, that'd be great, particularly who her mother is. It is believed that her father (Peter Doyle) brought Emma and her sister, Jessie to Omaha around 1864. Apparently Emma was given to a Griffen family to be raised and Jessie to another family (Hale or Dodd.) Emma uses the last name Griffen on her marriage license. In several census records her birthplace is listed as Tennessee. Any additional information that anyone might have would be greatly appreciated! Thank you again! --Matt

RE: Haywood Chason
I didnot know there was not any Headstone on Haywood Chason's grave there at New Hope Cemetery. Thank you for taking your time to take the picture of the site. There is a stone placed in his memory at the Chason family gravesite here in Lumberton, NC. It was placed there by his late brother more than 25 years ago. Haywood Chason was my wife's brother, but she has never been there to the gravesite. I have been trying to link all of the Chason family gravesites together and update any information together, that I may have. Again thank you for your help.
