I think that is the way Find A Grave does it now. If you click on Colene's mother Nellie she is the same way.

|Linda Davis||BARTHOLOMEW STOVALL|
Small world...Bart Stovall is my colony ancestor, which I used to join Colonial Dames of the XVIIC and then I used his son John Stovall as DAR supplemental patriot. I may have used the book you typed as a source of the documentation! Don Bishop was very helpful with my research. I believe he may have died in the last few years.
Welcome to Find A Grave. The guidelines for the website are located on the left of any memorial under "Help with Find A Grave". The main purpose of the website is to record graves but we all add own genealogy to the memorials made for the grave site. You have 30 days to find the grave site on recent deaths before you should delete the memorial with the unknown burial site.
Enjoy the site. I have for over 10 years now.

I am a Stovall descendant and found your information while working on a cemetery in Gadsden, Alabama. I would be interested in which person you had typed for, one I haven't hear from in years. He was most helpful in my early research years.

Hi. Just wanted to let you know that you have the same photo of a man posted at the memorials of 2 different persons: William T. Peoples and Thomas E. Peoples in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Regards.

Hi Sandra, I have deleted my memorial for Eudora since I found contributor, Eric, had created one for her in 2006. I am not related to the Goss/Smith family, but I believe Eric is if you want to contact him. My Mize family was from St. Clair Co., Al. and I have many families in my database.

Thanks for the update. Last time I was @ Rose Hill, they were kind enough to give me a map showing grave markers. It was very helpful finding those I was looking for.

Thanks so much for your suggestion, the link is now established. Do you know if Sallie was related to the Melear family who was prominent in the history of Arlington (Tarrant Co.) Texas?

|Chris Easley||Nell B. Davis photo request|
I have taken a headstone picture for you. However another photo volunteer has claimed the request. If he is unable to fulfill the request, then I will upload my photo to the memorial for you. I would like for the volunteer to receive credit for the headstone, if he is able to obtain it. They're are several other members of the Davis Family in this plot. They are all on Find A Grave. Their names are as follows:
Charles E. Davis
Colena G. Cody Davis
James L. Davis Sr.
James L. Davis Jr.
Marceill V. Davis
Nanncy Joanna Davis
Tom C. Davis
Bess Davis Harrison
You may already know and have this information, but thought I would pass it on just in case. They are buried in Block 53 Lot 4.
7 memorials of the Davis family memorials don't have headstone photos. I have obtained those and will be adding them today.

You're so welcome, Sandy. I don't do Callahan County, although I'm sure if you go to their TX GenWeb site, you can probably find a volunteer. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~txcallah/lookup.html
Blessings to you and yours! Janie

|Betty Finley||RE: Infant Sublett|
Yes, I found several pieces of info that Anna or Annie is her mother. The 1880 Census gives John's wife as Anna F. The marker for the infant Sublett in Chinn's Chapel Cemetery says (very faintly), "infant dau of John H. & Annie Sublett." The 1910 Census record states that John had been married twice. It also tells that he and Lydia had been married 22 years so about 1888. However, I do not know the source of the Merritt surname for Anna F. but have sent an email to my fellow researcher who provided it. I'll get back to you on that when I hear from him.
