Find A Grave Memorial# 3294673
I have finally determined through various military records and from a visit to the grave, that the memorial previously listed as "Pvt George B. Turner" is actually associated with the grave of my ancestor, Green Berry Huckleby Turner". This has been a mystery to me for years as a result of his name being incorrectly transcribed as "George". Do you mind to please correct your photo comment that reads his name as "George"? Thank you for your photos and for helping to direct someone to the right cemetery (I corrected it from Cave Hill National to Cave Hill).

I can't believe you got Jenny's headstone picture. My brother, John and I tried taking a picture of it but the sun just wouldn't cooperate. This one really means a lot to me. Jenny was more like a sister than a sister in law. I was only 10 when she and John married and they were very young so she was like an older sister. Mike you are a very special person to care so much to find all of Tunney's family's headstones.

RE: Green Berry Turner
I was not able to find a memorial for either green or George. I have seen it listed as both names in my research. The real name is green and I wanted to try to get the correct info out there. But I guess to do that I need to see the tombstone. Lol. Should I make another memorial for "George" and submit a request for that? Cave hill and cave hill national has said few pages of grave listed transcribed. And they all seem to list one or the other. Green is usually listed in national and George in cave hill. I'm just so lost on this one. Lol.

Thank you for your efforts to locate family of Anthony Grunder. I believe the medals were returned to his son Tony on Sunday Feb 9, after he saw a report on a Louisville News Program.
Excellent...

Neviel "Tunney", Woodrow "Woody" Merrifield and other brothers.
Thank you so much for attaching Tunney and Winston Merrifield to their parents. You picked up on it and also attached four other sons: Melburn "Melvin", Ray "Tommy", William H, Winston M "Fritz", Just wondering how you knew that three of the four were buried in Eastern Cemetery....I noticed you have two listings of William H Merrifield, one is a transfer and has a grave picture. Is it possibly you can attach that one to their parents and delete the other one from their parents? I would like the headstone to show. If this is too much trouble I do understand and so do appreciate all you have done. You went way above what I had expected. Thank you so very much....

Rob M
Dacner
You guys may be talking about two different people! There actually is a WT Dacner in Cave Hill National. It was two other requests she made who are listed in the wrong cemetery. I will maybe do the photo of the marker for the man who served his Country, but i won't be doing the other two as a result of the attitude i encountered. The job doesn't pay enough to put up with that. Maybe i should ask for a raise! Some people don't appreciate what they get FOR FREE.

Tangent
W. T. Dacner
is not a duplicate.

When other memorials are entered in the wrong cemetery (Cave Hill vs. Cave Hill National, in this case) or are so full of errors as to be unidentifiable, the correctly-placed memorial with correct information has priority.

Would it be possible for you to provide the names, please, of the two Clements you spoke of to Rob, who have one M in their names? I am also looking for the graves of his Father and a brother, and their names were most often spelled with only one M. Thank you!

The problem with William Henry Nuckles stone you reported... Thanks for letting me know there is no stone, However I cannot remove the memorial, because I contacted the cemetery and they confirmed that he is, in fact, buried there. Sec 23,you can tell there are no stones next to Rosa, so I am sure he just does not have a stone.
