Well, that's pretty funny you ask that. I was just telling my husband something very similar to that when I was researching the Gimber's. I found a Gimber headstone but couldn't read the first name. It was either Mary or Maria and the stone is next to Henry and Veronica Gimber. They had a daughter name Mary but no Maria. When I asked her a question about it she said she couldn't answer my question since I wasn't family. Then she walked away. This is the fourth time I have had this same women; and the first and second time she was very nice and very helpful. The third time I had her she said she could help me if it wasn't going to take too long.The man in there really does seem put out when you come in there. It seems most of my stones I get are for section 6G, which is huge and marked by color. but they never tell you what color section they are in. So, yes I do agree with you. I have never claimed any from Calvary and I am starting to not claim any from Holy Cross/St.Joe unless I see they have gone unclaimed for several days.

Stephen, I have been back to the cemetery several times and I could not find a headstone for Anna Gimber. I didn't want you to unclaim it, then me turn around and claim it and say I couldn't find a headstone. We can do that if you want, or you might want to look yourself. It says she (the Gimber's) are in Section B4. But they are directly behind the marker that says B3 back a few rolls off the road. I did find a headstone for Kathrina Gimber that was buried under the grass. I saw a sunken spot and started pulling up the grass, and there it was. Anna's is probably buried too, but I couldn't find it. LuAnn

I want to apologize to you. I filled a request the other day for a Nicholas and Elizabeth Gimber. While I was there, I took pictures of several other Gimber's that I saw in the area. I just posted them tonight. The other Gimber's were John Gimber Sr., John Gimber Jr. and Louise Gimber. After I was finished posting I see there was a request for John and Anna Gimber. It was the same date's for the John Gimber Sr. that I posted tonight that you have claimed. Again I am sorry, the post that you claimed wasn't there when I took my pictures. But I didn't take one for Anna Gimber.

The photo of Philip Coridan's grave is very helpful, thank you. If you happen to notice any Coridan's nearby next time you're there, photos would be wonderful.

Thanks so much for taking the time to try to find the headstone of Agnes & James Gootee. I'm surprised the cemetery didn't have a record of no headstone. Thanks so much for your time and effort.

Dear Stephan, t am so sorry I goofed in not deleting my photo request. I tried but I did not know how at the time. In the meantime a family member sent me a picture which I posted to the site. I have since sponsored my father's site so up to 20 photos can be posted. Please post the photo you took of the gravesite. Again, my sincere apology to you for my failure to delete this request.

|Julie||RE: John Ritchey|
Hi Stephen, No, I'm not 100% sure that Vorhies is the old Lemaster's family plot but using "deduction" & information I was able to gather it is the only reasonable location in Perry Twp. that I've found thus far. (A Nancy "Lemaster" buried there in 1830) Stephen, I also know nothing for sure about John's wife, my gggg grandmother. It is thought her name to be Catherine and where she died either in Ripley County or Marion County, Indiana is also unknown. If you do a search at Vorhies could you keep an eye out for a female "Ritchey" as well. Thank you so very much for taking a look. :)

Joe - who?
Yes, he is one of my baby brothers. I should have caught the name. I'll mention you to him. What a surprise.
I don't have a scanner. I do have a friend who can do it for me.

I actually have a picture of the stone, I just can't put it on Find A Grave. The dates are 1943 - 1957
I knew Chad and his family. I went to grade school with his brother Dan.
