Hmmm, then maybe I will leave it alone and just add a note stating the confusion. Maybe someone who is her descendant will clarify for me (us) one day. Thanks again! :) Happy Thanksgiving!

RE: James Dalrymple Thompson
I'm afraid my research only further confused me. I found a death certificate for James's and Mary's daughter, Sarah Fox, where it is spelled Lintichum (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/JK3B-Q7J). I also found her marriage certificate to John A. Cook, where it is spelled Linicun (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FQDS-98M). So I just don't know. I don't mind changing it to Linticum, so please let me know if you want me to do so. I am not a descendant of her, but of his first wife, Mary Polly White. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help. I also still had no luck in finding a death certificate or any record of when or where John died. I can only assume it was in either Calhoun or Cleburne Co., AL.

Thanks so much for making those updates for me.

I was actually just given Mary's page today. (I didn't create it.) I was just about to go in and add Bennett, because I had that in my records, also. I have always seen her maiden name as Liticum, but I will research that more tomorrow and get back to you. I also need to find out more information about her first husband, John Cook. I don't even know when he died so I'm not sure where he is buried, but again, I will see what I can find and get back to you, hopefully tomorrow. :) Great to meet you! :)

Gravesite - Mary S. White
Mary S. White was the sister of my 3rd great grandfather. I have spent many years researching the White family including Mary and her husband James Dalrymple Thompson. I have visited their gravesite once. I am appreciate of the work you do, and the fact that the site is well maintained. Thank you.

RE: Rocks, James, Agnes, & Ambrose
According to cemetery records, they are all buried in this plot which could probably hold 6 but there are no markers at all. Sorry...

In the same block as Fred WARE and family, was John Arthur WARE, presumed sp Catherine and son John Arthur Jr. If interested, please create the memorials with BLOCK 34 as PLOT (sorry, no way to know LOT # unless you call the office), place PHOTO REQUESTS and I will post the images.

I will delete them after a few days. I just cannot create mems for all of the images that I take were not explicitly requested.

Hi. My great grandfather was Henry Holland's younger brother, Mathew C Holland. Could you please tell me if you and I are related? Also, do you have any info on the father of Henry and Mathew? Thanks!

You are more than welcome to have it! I took it over b/c "Mulder" had became inactive. And I am also the historian at White Plains High School, and Mr. Busby was the janitor there for a few years. The picture of him is from the school yearbook.

You are very welcome. If you knew how many times somebody had to tell me something on f.a.g. It sure takes awhile to learn to navigate thru it all. Just glad to help you. I transered his memorial to you while ago.

Thomas Roberts photo request
I went to Chosea Spgs. Community cem. today to take the request for you and I could not find the Thomas Roberts. I walked it twice and after I was going to another cemetery, it hit me about the new cemetery that is listed under Chosea Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. When I put it in while ago to pull it up to ck the Thomas Roberts I have on my list of names from there, it would not bring it up by name. It is sooooo crazy how f.a.g. works. You know a cemetery is on there but it won't come up. Go in by county and pull up Calhoun co. and it is on there then. I'm most positive that memorial I posted on there is the one you want. I already have photos posted but if it is the correct one, let me know and I will transfer it to you. I need to take the flowers out of the vase and re take the main headstone again where the wife's name isn't in shadows.

RE: Duplications
You are welcome. I know how it was when I was 1st on here, much less on this computer as I had no experience w/one at all!!!!!!! Can you imagine MY HUSBAND trying to teach me how to do on it??!! But I had to ask a friend on here a million questions til I learned the ropes and there are several things I have not attempted....like posting a cremation when there is no official burial, etc. Welcome to f.a.g. It is so addicting and know you will enjoy it. Glad to help you anytime.

Cassie & Thomas Vaughn @ Chosea Spgs. Cem.
When I went to do my photos for your request, I had my papers marked that I had already posted photos for both of those memorials. When I pulled up all.....your memorial you posted is a duplicate and the original memorials for them has the photo I posted. The "mulder" that originally posted the memorial was designated as "inactive" by the f.a.g. admin. and the admin transfered those memorials to that person who I do not think is connected to them by relationship of family. You can just request a transfer for the originals and delete yours for them.
