Her full name appears in the bio section. When my memorials have a grave stone photo, the name conforms to that of the grave stone.

James and IvaBelle McKee
Hi Lee, nice to meet you. I wanted to let you know that I added some edit suggestions to Iva Bell McKee. Find A Grave# 93926951. I also added a Memorial Page for the baby she died giving birth to. I attached a death certificate to his page. I would like to add a picture or two to IvaBelle's Memorial page if you don't mind. One is a family picture including her parents and siblings. I thought about adding her death certificate also as it shows the direct link to her stillborn son, their deaths and burial information. I believe the two of them are in the same grave. I'll wait til I hear back from you... ~Tammy

Eldridge McKee
Dear Mr. Davidson, I wanted to extend a thank you for all your work and the people it helps!! I wanted to know if you could share where you obtained the death date of Eldridge McKee, many people on have the date as 16 Mar 1862. I have a copy of his estate, however it does not mention the actual date of death. Was the date you have obtained from the tombstone itself or maybe the cemetery records, Thanks!!

John Hootman
I noticed that the initial J. is listed with John Hootman buried in Defiance County - according to our family records, he did not have a middle name. Great picture by the way. The only one I have of his headstone is one my granfather took back in the 40s so its not very clear and doesn't look like the current stone.

As you may know, John settled in Jeromesville, Ohio after he and some of his brothers left the family home in Pennsylvania. Our family story is that his father Christian asked him to leave because the stepmother didn't want the older children around anymore!? He was a farmer, built and was a founder of the Desciple's Church of Christ in Jeromesville, which for a time held services on his property. As I understand it, he traveled extensively, and when he got older moved in with his daughter in Defiance County.

I noticed that some of John and Jane's children are missing from the list. Jonathan Leatherman Hootman, from whom I am descended and others. From my grandfather, Myron Hootman's records, I have John and Jane's children as follows:

Jonathan Leatherman (1818-1863 42nd OVI Co. F)
John Jackson

Unfortunately I do not have births or deaths for those other than what is listed but I do have a picture of Christopher - and his sons.

Christopher Gallion
