Hi! I see that you added a lot of genealogical information on Willard Wheeler (1849-1925) and I wondered if you'd be willing to share where you got it from. He is my 3rd great-grandfather and I have had no luck finding any information on him or his wife, Sophia Willett, prior to their marriage in 1869. Any info you'd be willing to share would be appreciated!

Not sure if you are aware of this but if you go to your Profile page where people leave you messaqes and where your numbers are located, there is a EDITS tab across the top on the right side. This is where people are sending you changes for dates, name, links, etc. Please click on that and approved those edits that have forwarded to you.

The information about Zebulon is correct. The reference is page 70 in Genealogy of the Cornell Family: Being an Account of the Descendants of Thomas Cornell by John Cornell 1839-1926 published 1902.

I am a Michigan Cornell Cousin through Eliza Cornell Becker my great great grandmother( wife of Joseph Martin Becker), daughter of Joseph of Zebulon of Daniel of William of Stephen of Thomas of Thomas.

The family reunion was held August 2013 and will be held next August 2014.

Thank you for making the corrections. I don't know if you are aware there is a new style suggest a correction for certain things. It's on this page on the edit tab. If you click it you will see a drop down list, edits pending. You just have to accept and it will fill in the info for you. A lot of people aren't aware because they don't visit the forums.

Nellie Mae Lent

I hope you remember a while back you sent me the links to her parents John an Elizabeth Crausway, buried in Saint Josephs Cemetery in Richfield Springs. I am just working on Springfield Cemetery, adding the photos and realized that John and Elizabeth cannot be her parents, Elizabeth was born 1888. Nellie Lent and her husband Delmont are buried with her parents Louis and Elizabeth Crossway and sister Marjorie Crossway Frost in Sect. G in Springfield Cemetery.
All the photos are posted and the new links made if you would like to look at it.

Let me know if you think it is correct.
Thank you Ingrid.

Edward Carrick photo request.
Do you have a plot number for Edward Carrick? I looked up his name on Evergreen's website but the search revealed he was not found. Any ideas to help locate his grave?

I went to Schuyler Lake cemetery today and fulfilled a photo request you had for this memorial. Next to Thomas is his wife, Mehitabel. Would you like this photo also? If so, I created a memorial for her and will upload the photo if you would like to request it? Her memorial is # 119038224

RE: Thurber Cornell
You're very welcome. I think photos make our family histories so much more interesting. I'm glad I could help out. There is a stone identical in design and right next to Thurber's stone with the name PAULINE D. CORNELL 1888-1968. I took a photograph of it but she has no memorial on Find A Grave so I could not upload it. I can email it to you if you're interested in this person. Perhaps it's the wife of Thurber Cornell. If you create a memorial, let me know and I'll upload it.

RE: Frank Carrick Headstone

Frank Carrick is buried next to the headstone that you see in the picture. He does not have a headstone. I notified the person that originally entered the memorial that there was not a headstone that he is buried in the lot next to the headstone that is shown but that person did not enter the information.....sorry!! The headstone that you can see is for William Albert Carrick 1913-1990 and Lydia Elizabeth Carrick 1921-?? no date put in.

Sorry that I can't help you further.

Hi! In regards to your photo request, can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker? Please post this information to the memorial or send it to me.

Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772

Forest Home is a huge cemetery with well over 70,000 burials, and the information is needed in order to find someone there and take a photo of a grave. I go here regularly, and since August I have found over 200 graves at Forest Home that had the location information provided. Thank you! Ace

RE: Caleb Baker
The picture belonged to Laura Dorcas (Baker) Buchanan. Laura was the granddaughter of Caleb, her father was Walter Ferrell Baker. Laura and her husband Jim died childless and my grandmother who was a good friend (but not related) was given some of Laura's photos. Among them was the Caleb Baker photo. Although I have some information on Walter's family, unfortunately I can't help you on Caleb's ancestors.

I looked @ close-up of pic of stone - it's Sarah B. Since we don't have an actual record I'll just leave the middle initial/name alone. But I did link to father. Thanks. :)
