|chris kenney||Lynford Rowland|
Curious about Lynford Rowland. I was raised in Cheltenham Township,PA in the 50's where his family were early developers and business people. Large landholders at one time and operated a very large tool and shovel manufacturing business along the Tacony Creek that merged with Ames Tool of Boston. Lynford owned a very large parcrl of land bordering current Ashbourne Rd. Do you have historical data on family? Thx.

Elizabeth Wakeling, Consort of Samuel Wakeling, departed this life April 18, 1844, age 76 years (I could not read the rest).
You have this date as the birth date (Samuel died in 1822}.
Thank you for adding the headstones. The symbols on them have meanings, and sometimes give clues to who they were.

|Jane Hamilton||Oakland cemetery|
Should you go to Oakland cemetery, would you check to see if there is a headstone for Martha (nee Borrowes) Welsh, died June 2, 1932. Would like a picture of it. Lot was/is owned by Frank Morgan. Unfortunately forgot to ask the Sec/Plot when the call was made about her. DO NOT make a special trip. Thank you, Jane

|Jane Hamilton||RE: Morgenroth duplicates|
When full names are not the same I think we get confused. I too have done duplicates. See that Zoe Tom added many of the Morgenroth folks, to my knowledge she is not even related. Andrew was my husbands cousin and of course the rest follow in the family. Are you near Oakland Cemetery by any chance? I was into Oakland looking for A Martha Welsh.

Hi Bonnie--Yes Lawnview. I got a new keyboard recently and I swear the keys are smaller...lol. There are two plots the first is Broad, Section 41, graves 61-71 with the following surnames: Mirkil, Rogers, Hand, Harwood, Butler and Brown. All but Harwood are removals from Odd Fellows but most likely there would be a marker for Blanche Harwood All of these people Theses are actually in 2 adjacent plots one for the family of Joseph Mirkil the other family of Perry(Peter) Mirkil.
The second would be Susquehanna, Section 60 With the surnames Schaffer and George. Lot owner George Schaffer. These are removals from Monument and I;ve read that all of the monument folks were buried in an unmarked mass grave and the stones used for bridge construction. (Didn't the Nazi's do something similar to the Jews in Poland?) I'm not holding a lot of hope but you never know. Thanks again for your time!.

|Susanne Wile||RE: Curtis postings|
Thank you, Bonnie Sue, but I am the one who is learning the site. I searched for listings for my both my parents and didn't find any, so I added them. Later, I kind of stumbled onto a cemetery listing and saw there were two sites for my dad. Thank you for deleting the one you started for him and thank you for taking the pictures of the gravestones. I live several hours away from Philadelphia, so I appreciate your efforts.

|erinne dock||Menie Walof|
I really appreciate you looking for Menie Walof. It means a great deal to our Family.
Her name might be spelled Minnie as was on her death certificate, though her naturalization papers list her as Menie. The ships Manifest lists her surname as Wallow but her death certificate says Walof. Her husband Reuben spelled his surname Walov. (his burial spot is unknown). The Sam Walof you found is son of Menie.

Hi Bonnie Sue--Do you live close to Lanview? If so would you find some other headstones for me? I have plot and grave information for you. I've been to visit Lanview twice (I live in California) but the office was closed both times so I could not get directions to the sections/plots I was looking for. Thank you agasin--David Gardner

The heading was wrong. The message refers to the one before mine from Susanne Wile. You had posted the headstone photo to my entries for Shirley (Deuber) Curtis and her husband Walter. Per Susanne's request, I first moved the headstone photos to her entries and then I deleted my memorials.

I recently came across Find A Grave. I added my parents (Shirley Naomi Deuber Curtis and Walter Scott "Walt" Curtis) through my mother's Deuber family link. Later I coincidentally found a second site for them that you had done. Their names had not come up when I first looked. Is it possible to delete your posting so they are only listed once? My posts contain more specific info.
I very much appreciate the picture of their gravestone that you posted.If the sites can be combined, can the photo be transferred to my sites?

I just noticed that you took a picture of Sam Walof's headstone. Can I ask you to see if there was one for Menie (or Minnie) Walof. I would greatly appreciate the effort
