Find A Grave Memorial# 114094501
The memorial cited above is to the grave of my great-uncle, Ben McGee Williams. If agreeable to you, will you transfer administration of this to my care? There are a number of improvements and linkages I would like to make and perhaps more in the future. It will be much more convenient for both of us for me to have the care of it. My membership title and number is Willray (#47314868).

Donna Wilkes
RE: Lester Ballou
Hello Billy,

I'm trying to connect the dots on my husband's family for medical reasons. His mother was Kathryn Muriel Ballou, daughter of Russell A. Ballou and Kathryn Harvey Ballou, a/k/a Pinkie. Muriel had twin sisters, Virginia Darrah and Patricia Johnson. One of these twins died from cancer as well as Virginia's son Peter Darrah. Do you have any knowledge of the family? My husband, Thomas (Mitch) Wilkes was Muriel's love child who was born in July, 1945 in Orlando. He and ex-wife found Muriel in the early 90s and even visited and communicated with her. She passed in 2001 but there's no Find-a-Grave information on her. I have a copy of her obituary which I thought I'd add a memorial for her some day. Thank you for any information you may be able to share. wilkes3982@gmail.com

RE: Charles Rockcastle
No problem Billy; thank you for accepting my additions.
Charles H. Rockcastle's son, Richard, was my best friend in Oct. 1975 when a tragic home accident took the lives of both his parents, Charles & Nancy and the two little brothers, Mathew & Andrew. A year after that, Richard himself was killed in an auto accident in Colorado at age 23, leaving a young wife and an infant son. It was so unspeakably tragic that it still messes me up thinking about it to this day. His wife & son had to move on and rebuild their lives, and if those details were to be added to these memorials, it should be done by the family since they're really the only ones who know what actually happened. Meanwhile, there is a memorial created for Richard, which I've had linked to the ones you've made for Charles & Nancy, and I've also helped with a few edits as well.
Thanks for honoring my friend's family
... Larry ...

MAJ Michael Weston at ANC
Hi,
For your photo of the stone for MAJ Michael Weston at Arlington National Cemetery, in the caption you have bracketed [OEE] -- that actually is OEF, which stands for Operation Enduring Freedom, the Afghanistan campaign. Would you please update the caption?

Thank you!

Linked him to both parents. Looks like he is listed in the wrong cemetery.

Pictures taken in Prospect Hill Cemetery
Hi Billy:

Thank you very much indeed for helping your grandmother take pictures of which a good many have been for many of the people I am interested in. Please keep up the good work. You make a difference and people who come after we are gone will be able to find out things about their ancestors.
