Not sure....and since their son is certain it was that cememtery, I just deleted. But since the person is inactive you can contact Find A Grave and have them transfer management to you. There is a lot of rigamaroll with combining...or used to be, I don't know since the new things took effect.

I am going to be making a bunch of requests to have many family members from this cemetery transferred over to me please. I will do it through the make a correction on each memorial page. Members of this family (Christian and his son Edmond) not only lived right near the cemetery, but were the caretakers of it for many many years, so I would also like to add that information to their pages along with all of their information. Thank you so much for taking the time to set these up in the first place as I am located in Canada. Although I have visited the cemetery a couple of times and my cousins the descendants of this family who still live just down the road from it.

Do you have an Email address you can share so I can send you the cemetery info? I am not aware of a way to send attachments via FindAGrave.

|Michael Reither||Robert and Theodosia Walker|
Thanks for contacting me about Robert and Theodosia. I have family members buried at Mt. Tabor and am trying to document this old, historic cemetery. While walking around the cemetery, I found the tombstone of Robert and Theodosia - it was 99% covered by a layer of dirt and grass with only a small corner exposed. I gently removed the dirt and found their tombstone in immaculate condition - the lettering was sharp and crisp and very well preserved. My guess the tombstone fell over about a hundred years ago and was lost to time (I have cemetery records that do not list this tombstone). I am not related to the Walker family and would be happy to transfer the memorial to you, if you like, since they are your 4th great grandparents. I have a PDF file of the Mt Tabor cemetery internments if you are interested. Regards, Michael Reither

My member number is 48253223. Over 30 yrs ago my dad & I were able to go back as far as John W. Weigle born 1814. But couldn't find anything about him or his parents. I sent a link to this website to my boyfriend & he found the headstone for John W. Weigle. I think he was a farmer. Charles Weigle & his brother Frank worked at a glove factory. We used to have an employee photo & their heads were circled & their names on the back. But somehow over 20 yrs ago these photos seem to have disappeared.

Grace! I was looking up info on Myheritage.com & only Mabel, Mildred & Wilbur were listed. My mom recently told me he had a younger sister named Grace so the info I found listed her as Grace Eleanor Weigle Ensor 1911-1971. I have some photos, but not sure who is in some of the photos. I would be glad to mail copies or scan & email copies. I also have an interesting newspaper article from about 1915 you might enjoy with a photo of Anna Marie McDonald, her mother I believe is Mabel (Weigle) McDonald age 16, (my mom had thought Mildred was married to a Jim McDonald), & her mother Edna (Walker) Weigle (age 34), her mother Mrs (Trowbridge) Walker age 50, & her mother Mrs Trowbridge age 71, great great grandmother to Anna Marie, stating they all lived within a block eachother. I believe my dad & I probably found this on microfilm years ago at the Des Moines library. I have not started a family tree yet, but my boyfriend has been starting one for me on Ancestry.com. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org. Curious to see the photos you have.!!

Which sister, Mildred or Mabel? Wilbur was my grandfather. His son Lynn was my dad. When Wilbur died in 1969 I was 7 yrs old. I am the youngest of 4 daughters. No brothers. Michelle b 1958, Marianne b 1960, Shelly b 1961, & (me)Melisa b 1962. When my dad & I tried researching family history when I was about 12, we had to visit cemeteries & write to the state for vital records. He would've loved this!

|Mark Vernon||Clague thanks|
I have just added the information for Isabella.
I have been using the microfilm collection found in the Kent Library. They have a fair collection of local newspapers on microfilm. They vary in quality, with some being nearly unreadable. Some prints are quite good. These can also be found in the marvelous microfilm collection in the Suzallo Library at the University of Washington. Here you can find an amazing collection of Northwest newspapers on microfilm. I think some can only be found here and are very rare.
The obits I have found help to link the pages I have made to other family members. I think I have given more transfers to other people on findagrave at Hillcrest than any other cemetery I have added to. I have to admit feeling nervous about asking for information at the Hillcrest office since I am not dealing with family members. It would be great adding plot numbers to these pages.

You're welcome. I'm sorry she doesn't have a marker. I'm curious as to what your grandmother's notes indicate. On www.crownhill.org it shows her at:
Do you think maybe they moved her? Let me know if I can be of any further help.

Transfer not necessary, I am not related. I see you have several other memorials at Acacia without photos. Let me know if you would like photos and/or I'll be in touch as I add more sections at Acacia. Stephen

|Scott||Re: Thomas White|
Hi Sheila, Thanks so much for contacting me. I knew that some of Thomas and Martha's children went to Washington state. I tried a few years ago to learn more about them without much success. I understand your confusion about the obit. It was Eliza's sister, Ellen Elizabeth, that married William R. Matlick. She is the "Ellen from Burlington " mentioned in the obit. William R. and Ellen were my great grandparents. I guess Eliza's relatives must have been confused when they wrote the obit. I have seen this frequently doing genealogy. I would love to see the stories/obits you found for Eliza or John. My email is email@example.com if you would like to send me a copy. I'd be happy to have the transfers if you don't wish to maintain the memorials. Thanks again for your efforts and contribution to the site. It's been my hope to get all of these White siblings linked to their parents. Best Regards,
