I hope it was helpful to you. I know in the early days spelling was catch-as-catch-can, especially with my Dutch ancestors (whew!). Let me know if there is anyone else in that yard that you really want to see. I'll go back

All the best

RE: Pacific View - Corona del Mar
I have been taking pictures at the cemetery and build the memorial from the pictures only. I have not had great success with the staff when it comes to photo requests and having them provide burial information. For now, I am working in the Vista Del Mar (terrace) and will be adding more in the next few weeks.

I hope some of them are your relatives. . .

Kind Regards - DJ

RE: Clinton W. Strong
I do not know his family information, I recorded him in my Virtual Cemetery as a Civil War soldier who was killed at battle of Rocky Race Ridge. I am not sure of the relationship, but his name is on the same monument as Ozias, at Silvercreek Cemetery Old.

RE: Clinton W Strong photo
Thank you. I am thinking that the script above Clinton's name may tell the story of his military service and death at Buzzard's Roost / Rocky Face Ridge. Do you know if he is interred there, or is it a Cenotaph on a family monument?

Thank you so much for taking the pictures of my grandparents plaques! I cannot put into words what that means to me.

Clinton W Strong photo
Thank you for taking that photo of Clinton W Strong memorial, #83969666.

Do you happen to have a photo of the upper part of that stone that you can send me?

He was a Civil War soldier who died May 9, 1864, at the battle of Rocky Face Ridge and I am wondering if that is what the text is about above his name.
